I saw it today at the IMAX. As far as Bond movies go,I rate it very high. I really don't want to give too much away. There are some nods given to past spy movies and TV shows. Not sure if it was intentional or not. I feel the villian was more weird than interesting. He was kind of a cross between the villian in Goldeneye (Sean Bean's 006) and Heath Ledgers Joker. The strengths of the movie are the dialogue actually moves the movie along and doesn't suffocate it with boring, droll "British_Speak".
Also, the beautiful cinematagraphy might be Oscar worthy. One of the best looking 007 movies ever.
There are some nods to past Bonds in here and one movie part that should have been given to Sean Connery or Roger Moore (You'll know it when you see it). I give it a solid 3 stars, very enjoyable overall.

Seriously considering seeing this over the weekend. I caught the last couple from Craig on demand the
last 2 weeks. He is a good Bond. Also saw him in Girl with Dragon Tattoo and he was good there as well.

Not gonna get into details, but after initiial viewing, I rank this up there with any of the other films in the series...I think people will still point to Casino Royale being better as far as the Craig films go but this was a bit better for me.

Best in a long time. Daniel Craig is starting to grow on me.

Was cool that I saw 3 generations of grandpa/dad and 11 year old ish boy in the audience.

And of course you had to start humming under your breath the first time the old theme came on.

The whole cast was excellent too. Dame Judi Dench may be the best acress ever from England.

I'm told it's more like Casino Royale (good) rather than that last one (piece of shit) so I'm looking forward to watching this one.

I like Craig as Bond. It's 2012 and yes he may be more Jason Bourne and less Connery/Moore but it's better than having a crappy Bond like Russell Brand or some other joker who gets chosen just because he has a british type accent.

It's the best of all of them. Really good. Very long, but very reminiscent of the most recent Batman series.

Craig is really good. I would have said connery hands down but he's so damn... Scottish.
Maybe Craig wins for now.

It's two different Bond eras. It's like Keaton vs. Bale for Batman. It's comparing two different types of film making and writing.

Skyfall was very good but fell a bit short of Casino Royale IMHO.

Another really solid Bond flick. Caught it this past weekend. I am not sure how it rates against the others but
I really like Craig in this role. He is a total badass. Much more believable than Brosnan. The opening chase
scene was really good, I caught myself gripping my chair during the motorcycle chase.

Have any of the Bond films ever won an academy award? I'm pretty sure none of them have. Maybe one or two nominations.

No,I don't think they have. A few songs were nominated. Cubby Broccoli received a lifetime achievment award awhile back. I remember that.

In my opinion these get right what the Dalton-era films got a bit wrong.

Wow,Sean goes last?
I really liked all of them. They all had their strong points. If I had to pick a favorite,it would be Barry Nelson.

Just bought it and saw it... The ending was absolutely brilliant, I just pray that they now transition to some of the familiar Connery type films...
