Mike Tice's strategy:

1. It's raining, so they will never expect us to throw the ball every time.
2. Our offensive line is horrible in pass protection, so they will never expect us to throw the ball every time.
3. Jay is notoriously bad in the first half, so they will never expect us to throw the ball every time.
4. Our TE's are an NFL joke, so they will never expect us to throw them the ball.
5. Everyone in the NFL knows that Devin Hester cannot catch, so they will never expect us to run 5 straight plays throwing him the ball.
6. The Texans have one of the top pass rushing defenses in the NFL, so they will never expect us to throw the ball every time.

7. Cutler is out for the 2nd half, they will never expect us to throw the ball every time.

I hope Patrick Mannely is our 3rd QB and he passes by launching it backwards between his legs.

Dont understand the routes. They consistently run two or more receivers guys into the same areas. That last red zone play is a perfect example. They have both Marshall and EB run out and they both get pinched along the sideline. Run Marshall in and he muscles the coverage for a TD. Instead they herd all three DBs to one area and get pinched.

Love this thread. Going to enjoy Doug and OB almost as much.

They are down 4 points. Why are the Bears not running the ball with jumbo package? Do I need a new tv?

Davis fucking sucks.

Why don't they ever throw the ball to the Rodriguez kid? Wasn't he supposed to be the receiving threat, but all I ever see him doing is playing full back

Down 7 with 2 minutes left and they're still throwing 1 yard passes. Might be time to open things up a little?

Ball game.

Another pathetic Bears primetime performace. A staple of the Lovie Smith era.

They can still win the wild card if they can hold off Minnesota.

Matt Forte's night:
16 rushes 39 yards 2.4 ypc
2 catches -3 yards -1.5 ypc
I don't think the play calling was the issue. Drops by receivers were what fucked the Bears tonight.
