Way too much to take in for one episode. It feels like it should have been or could have been spread out over 2-3 episodes but I guess that is what makes this show so great. This ranks up right up there with The Shield for me as being one of my favorite shows ever. Wow!!

That was like a season finale. They spent last year sitting around talking and now they are actually doing something.

I can't believe the ending - even now. No way did I think that would happen so soon.

holy shit, that was insane.

They are really doing a good job throwing curve balls at those of us diehards who have read the comics. In the books she dies at the prison, but its much later on. Had no idea that was coming and really couldn't believe they would kill off two characters in one episode like that.

Just when T-dog is starting to feel like a real character and not just a peripheral....

why would you ever open a thread about a show you like before you've seen the episode??? What did you expect to find here? You just couldn't wait a whole hour before visiting this part of the internet?

Didn't really think about it. Plus I don't really give a shit about spoilers. If I know what's going to happen it doesn't necessarily affect how much I enjoy a show. My post was in jest.

That was a crazy episode for sure. Wasn't expecting two members of the group to go down in one episode at all.

Another great episode, this one a bit of a breather after last week's insane action.

Was great to see Michonne in her element slicing up zombies...I think that's the first time she cracked a smile since we met her.

So what did you all think of Penny? Governor is one messed up dude...and to think, they are making him seem tame compared to how he is in the books.

So the big questions that we are left with...

Who's on the phone?

Is Carol really dead?

From the previews it looks like Andrea might finally be pulling her head out of her ass when it comes to Woodbury.

You can't ask new questions unless our questions from the other thread are answered. What's up with the notebook and all those pages of scribble? I'm not sure what to make of Penny yet, although that was a strange scene.

I didn't understand Rick and the fat zombie. Are they saying that the zombie ate Lori? I thought they got the bodies out before?

I think they said that zombie ate Lori afterwards on the Talking Dead.

Pretty hardcore zombie if he ate her bones as well.

Wouldn't there have been a skeleton?

I think they may have gotten T-Dawg out, but they definitely didn't ever find Carol (she is definitely going to be alive) and they never got to Lori. The zombie did eat her...but what I don't understand is the location of the bones. Wouldn't there be something left over? The zombie isn't eating a skull or a femur, yes?

Just chalk it up to sloppy direction. It happens.

I noticed a continuity issue in the last episode as well when the governor was playing golf. In the first shot the bucket of balls is to the left of the tee, but in the second shot the balls are to the rigth of the tee which makes sense since the governor was shooting righty.

No big deal, even the best directors make mistakes like this...Scorcese is famous for all his continuity errors.

This isn't really a continuity issue. It's a decision or omission that makes it difficult to understand what the scene is trying to convey.

Still, a good episode.

That's a reach, sport. Just busting your balls a bit. You're my go-to for spoilers. Even if I know what is (most likely) going to happen, I still thoroughly enjoy the show.

Also, are we to believe the prisoner who Rick killed last week was the one watching Carol from the bushes in the previous episode?

Yes, Andrew was the guy watching Carol from the bushes. Although, technically he was killed by Oscar, not Rick, but I'm sure you knew that.

I think things are going to really start getting intense next week in terms of interaction between Rick's group and the group in Woodbury. Not basing that on any spoiler so don't freak out, just a guess.

Oh yeah, I've been (im)patiently waiting for the Rick/Governor showdown. Was hoping they wouldn't save it for the season finale. Can't wait that long.

yeah, no way they wait that long. Although my guess is they stretch it out over 2 seasons and we don't see the final showdown till next year. Way too much good stuff to cram into one season.

Also, I'm joining Hank in the "I've had enough Michonne" camp. The payoff better be worth it.

Yeah me too. I have no doubt she is an excellent character in the comics, but it's pretty obvious the show is either not trying to develop her at all or is doing a terrible job if they are trying.
