That sucks for Mark. I'm suprised he would not have had a NTC in his contract as they seemed to be giving him the farm. Now he is going to get ripped in the ALE.

From the Sox perspective, Toronto has no need for Buck and that is a starter's contract. Offer them a low level prospect for Buck and some cash relief.

Buck would be a solid replacement for AJ. I would rather him than Olivo or Kurt Suzuki.

I think Suzuki is a sleeper guy. He's spent his career in vast ballparks that hold huge advantages for pitchers. I would expect him to have a pretty good season.

I hope the fans don't show up in Miami. They usually wait until after they win a WS before dumping their entire team.

I agree with this.

Though I am holding out hope AJ stays.

bet he is still good. Maybe doesnt have a full season of "GOOD" but I still think he has a few very good outings and of course a statue and a FEW honorary nights at the CELL.

He was pretty good for all of last season. Maybe if the Sox are actually dumb enough to do construction during the baseball season, they can get a giant tarp with his picture with his picture on it to cover up the mess.

I think he could switch to relief work and be on a pitching staff until he is 50.

Jon Garland just confirmed the until-now legend that Buehrle had been drinking when he came in to save Game 3.
