Might want to get those 2 eyes checked.

As old age creeps up on me, you may a point about the eyes. But can you honestly make the claim that today's game is in a Golden Era (or compares favorably to the game of the 70's through 90's)?

Then watch games that don't involve the Saints.

After the embarrassment that was the Seattle playoff loss....I largely have. And yet one of the 4-5 NFL games I've watched this season was last Sunday night's thriller in the rain/muck.

No thanks. Wake me when the second round of playoff games starts.

You should be glad, your team pulled the HUGE upset off the Failcons.

You know me, I like football, but baseball is my love. Can't wait for the warm weather and the crack of the bat. We are taking the boys down to Disney to play this summer, looking forward to it.

Football is as good as its ever been. You may want to watch as much as you can because its going to be a completely different game in our lifetime. And not for the better...

Taking my oldest to practice tomorrow. Few better fall/early winter sounds than the crack of wood bats in practice.

As for Disney this summer...I hope you either: a) hit the lottery; or 2) have great saving habits, that trip will cost you.

College football is as good as its ever been. Pro ball (& even the environment around a pro game/tailgate) leaves me cold. It's being so watered down & drained of flavor, in 3-4 years I'll likely not watch at all.

I enjoy any college sport over the pros, and I know that I am in the minority on that. Maybe it's because where I grew up and at the time there were no professional franchises close by.

While I wouldn't mind that....I'm now wondering if you'll even watch tomorrow's big tilt vs. Purdue.

But, do the Illini actually have competing O Coords calling plays on different downs?!?

It's a growing minority though. Thanks in part to the neutering of pro football I'm sure.

I don't know. Probably. They should just do a Twitter poll to let the fans call every play and have Scheelhaase carry an iPhone to get the calls.

Wilson has a 2-game sack streak going.

It really doesn't matter to me...high school, college, pro. If its on I'm watching.

That's really the thing of it for me. 5-10 years ago I was in the same boat. Now I watch prep/college ball almost exclusively. I rarely even turn on any NFL show (& had actually forgotten that there are hours & hours of pregame shows, until three weeks ago  )

It's counter intuitive, because my football team won't ever be elite, and parity would really help them, but I can't help but watch football every Sunday and think that I'm simply watching a series of slightly weighted coin flips.
