Ok so I was doing a little bit of research online here and I figured we might be able to try something different to get our poker games in. Pokerstars.net has an option where you can sign up for "home games" with your buddies and it doesn't look they do anything besides free money tables. I wanted to see if this would work for our poker games as we used to have these about once a month but I don't see that happening in person for me anytime soon. Anyways I figured I would try and set this up and see if we could get a few guys online a certain night(maybe Wednesday night) to try and get a game together and see if it works for us. If it does then we could figure out games from there with maybe a paypal type thing happening.

Basically what you're going to have to do is download the pokerstars.net software on your computer and set up an account. You don't have to add any money into the site as I didn't have to when I started it. Just drop a line back on here if you're interested in doing this and I'll shoot you out a PM with the club code so you can sign up for the poker game. Right now I put the first game for Wednesday night 11/21 at 8pm.

Count me in. Not sure about tomorrow night since I'll be cooking for thursday, but in general I'm in.

I already have a Pokerstars account, but I forgot what it is since I haven't used it in a couple years.

I wouldn't trust online for anything else except something like this since we won't have to worry about our funds disappearing into Howard Lederer's pockets like with Fulltilt.

As I was looking for a long time as well, they had this option before but it was for "Admins" or basically advertisers...as they have been almost shut down in the US, maybe they opened it up?

I would be very leery of any poker website software install. Lots of keyloggers and trojans like to hide in their code...
