I was out ringing the bell all day at the mall. All through the day all I was hearing was how cold it was and how people where freezing.Driving me nuts for several reasons.
1)not dressed for the weather. Wearing no jacket or just a zip up sweatshirt hoodie not zipped up. Come on there are so many ways to check the weather before you go out not even counting when you first walked out the front door and went wow it is cold maybe I should put a jacket on.
2) They been saying for almost a week on all forms of news it was coming
3)It is fucking the end of November, this is the normal temperature so unless you just arrived from Sub Sahara Africa or have Alzheimer's it happens every year around this time.
Dress for the weather and put some gloves on you morons.
Also, people who keep asking me if I am cold. No not really see because I check the weather report and dress for the conditions. Also,I like the cold temps.SO until it is below zero, yesterday it was 39 so technically not freezing out, it id not cold to me. Shut the hell up and put at least a quarter in the kettle.

I have never heard anybody who is surprised by cold weather in winter.

We live in Chicago. I have no problem with people who complain about the cold in winter. I have no problem with people who complain about the heat in summer. But if you complain about both, you're a douchebag who should move to San Diego.

My garbage cans were blown down the street, and into my neighbor's yard.

It just seems with the coverage they are making it like it's unexpected.

Of course they call a 2 inch snowstorm "BIG STORM WATCH"

And don't get me started on all the drivers when the first storm hits that act like they moved here from Florida a week earlier and had never driven in snow before.

Not sure if you were being sarcastic or not but I agree. It can be annoying considering most of the people have lived here their entire life. I love the cold and the heat. I just hate driving in the snow.

If they think it's too cold, just set off one of those baby bombs they got and warm things up a bit...

Well, the news is still a TV show. They still have to find ways to get people tuned in. That's just one of them. Not really anything new.

I don't know about you, but as a driver I'd rather have people being cautious in the snow than driving like they're in the Indy 500. You know...safety and all. There are a lot of people driving with kids in the car too.

I've never tried a baby bomb but I imagine it could get a little messy.

Completely agree. Now the Miss Daisy types can still bother me when I have to get somewhere but considering I'm almost always driving with my kids I want to beat the shit out of the race car drivers.

That's one of the things my girl and I differ on. She's a very fast driver but she doesn't have kids. I used to drive like that, but the perspective changes once you have a kid. I used to do all kinds of stupid shit on the roads back in the day.

Wait.... Your job is to collect money from people who have some they can spare and then use said money to help those who are less fortunate?

Going under 80 was hard for me to do for a long time. Even after I had kids I did it when they weren't in the car. It probably took my son being born or turning 25 for me to change that. Doing the dash was something I loved to do. Can't explain the rush I got from doing that or finding a car that was willing to race me on the highway.

Yes, nailed it. I will complain about it suddenly getting cold, but I have no qualms whatsoever with sweating my ass off in the summer. That's why we suffer through the cold, sillybears!

That is pretty ironic when you think about it.

My body regulates my temperature in a great way. I'm never too hot or too cold. It has to be over 100 degrees for me to sweat during the summer and I've never owned a pair of gloves or a hat as an adult. No one else in my family is like that.

In November and December, it's called Christmas spirit. The other ten months, it's called Socialism.

Yup,that kinda stuff ,you know helping other people is in the Bible. I also help pass out food to the needy and even once a month go out and give food and stuff to the homeless.
I am not,nor is anyone,100% right wing. I mix and match those things to my outlook and belief system.
You who is a supposed left wing nut job.Do you really donate not just your money but your time? Bet not.

Choosing to donate your money and being forced to "donate" your money are 2 totally different things.

I believe there is a difference between having the government doing this and charity organizations. Perhaps chas believes charities can more efficiently redistribute wealth.
