People on Twitter, occasional Score callers, and now Tom Jackson have all criticized Jay Cutler's demeanor. I think this is a sufficient sample size to conclude that LITERALLY EVERY HUMAN BEING IN THE WORLD IS A STUPID PERSON WHO HATES JAY CUTLER AND DOES NOT REALIZE HOW SPECIAL HE IS AND HOW LUCKY WE ARE TO HAVE HIM. I trust that Our Hero will proudly perform his civic duty and spend a significant amount of the show correcting them.

The Bears won, so we are spared the epistemological nightmare of the last two weeks, in which we learned absolutely nothing and no one is allowed to say anything definitive about anything, because isn't the NFL just so derned zany?

People will complain about Lovie, and Dan will use the Meatball Voice to obliquely accuse them of being racist.

Listen or die.

The only thing that "stings" about Costas is his ability to continue poisoning the national consciousness with his crap about how sports were better when the world was sepia-toned and only white guys were allowed to play. Seems to me he'd be exactly the kind of guy Dan hates, but maybe they're both on the board of the National Racial-Coding Sports Roundtable or something.

They both come from the same school of phony intellectualism- and I don't mean Duke or Syracuse. The major difference I see between the two is that Costas actually enjoys sports.

Costas sees his role as the keeper of the flame while dan sees his as the destroyer.

Everyone hates Cutler because he is a shitkicker pretending to be big city sophisticated with a plastic wife...basically the white Scottie Pippen.

When I was in Vegas a couple weeks ago I went to Lagasse's Stadium to watch the Bears-Texans game. The guy I was with was wearing a Hester jersey. We were standing there waiting to be seated next to one of the private rooms that was full of Texans fans most of whom were wearing Texans jerseys. They were fucking loaded and it seemed like they had probably been there all day drinking like crazy. A couple of them came out and talked some shit about the Bears. Then this cute little Asian girl who was with them walked over to us. She was so fucking drunk I'm surprised she could stand. She walked up to my friend and slurred, "You don' thhhhhhink Cutler ishhh good, do you?" He said, "Yeah, he's pretty good." And she replied, Oh, come on. He plahjes like shhhhit every week an' then he'sh with Kristin Cavallari an' he'sh more known for that an' now there'sh thishhhh ridiculous Cutler baby." So now I can't look at Jay without thinking about the ridiculous Cutler baby.

How did you like Lagasse's? And how the hell did you pull off getting a spot? We stopped by on a Friday and they said all the tables for Sunday were already reserved.

It was an okay place to watch football. I remember bigfan posting about it. It seemed like he liked it more than I did. The food we had was regular bar food that just had Emeril's name on it. I'm guessing it wasn't hard to get a seat because it was the night game and the weekenders from L.A. may have been bailing out already.

Yea, I think OK is best way to describe it. The place got hyped up by buddies who previously went. But the food was solid nothing special. And when we went down Saturday to check out the atmosphere during games was pretty much like any sports bar. Bounced over the Wynn sportsbook and didn't have to deal with the reservation crap.

I dont think the Falcons losing 31-27 at New Orleans qualifies as embarrassing.

Definitely a bit. Guy was a little too like the caller B&B loathe. Yet they laughed. I think Bernsie liked the effort of the bit.

so, you think the Falcons can win it all? Think they're better than San Fran? New Orleans? Green Bay?

Yeah, they are better than NO or GB right now. I think SF is the best team in the conference, but it wouldn't surprise me if GB, NO, Chi, Atl, or NY won the NFC. Any other team would surprise me.

Haven't listened in a very very long time, but tuned in after the Louis news. They need a new Bears reporter. Independent of whether you think ZZ is good or bad, it's absolutely horrible radio when he is on B&B.

I'll admit, the question to Cutler was funny, but hearing that clip and then hearing B&B laugh at it, clearly bothered Zach... And that ultimately led to an awful segment. Brutal.

Zack is a very proud guy. He thinks of himself as the foremost authority on Bears football as far as Bears beat guys in this city. He's not. But you won't convince him otherwise.

When B&B challenge his dumb Bears thoughts or ridicule him he gets very angered by that. It hurts him. He feels he should be respected. He won't get that from B&B. They take his "King of Bears media" crown, piss in it and hand it back to him saying "Thanks Zack, any nuggets?"

well, five teams vying for a NFC title would certainly fall in line with "derned zany". I mean, N.O. just beat them. Was it not a fair fight? I agree on San Fran as the best of the bunch, but they've got huge holes too.

When Dan talks about "his guy in Champaign," I like to imagine a soybean farmer in overalls, speaking in hushed tones in a pay phone booth. And every tip ends with "Remember, you didn't hear this from me. It would hurt Illini recruiting."
