Agreed.

How are they going to twist history to make North Korea into a power capable of attack the U.S.?

For the last 20 or so years they haven't had enough jet fuel to put their pilots in the air for more than a few hours a month.

Bad.

That's just what they want us to think.

Maybe it was all the commercials for the DVD release I am not sure but finally gave in and rented this
last night. Loved the original and knew this was going to be a big step down going in but wanted to see
it anyway. Whoa..... don't even bother. The story is really awful and the original is better in every way.
I guess I am just a glutton for punishment. Please don't waste any money on this.

I am on basic cable schedule release anyways. Will do a pay version every once in a while...Frefall...or maybe Argo...but otherwise...RED DAWN can wait

Good choice. Skyfall or Argo are worth a rental price definitely.

Right around the time this farce came out IO was reading a story about the production of this movie, and the foe was originally set to be China, but fear of a countrywide banishment (and a huge loss of overseas $ale$) made them switch to NK.

I noticed the change right away. Part of what made the movie even more unbelievable then it obviously is.
Now if the paratroopers dropped out of a blimp or hot air balloons that may have made more sense. Even when
North Korea claimed they wanted to nuke us this week in the news, I kind of chuckled to myself and moved on
to the next bit of news.

Thought they changed from Chiner to NK in part due to 'Tomorrow When the War Began' (based on a teen fiction series, like the vampire thing or Hunger Games) beating Red Dawn to
a release date:
