I could have just won the lotto and banged a super model but the moment I cross the threshold into Wal-Mart I would feel depressed, feel like shit and want to take my own life.

It's just a bad feeling being in there, like your soul and humanity is being forcibly taken from you and slowly ripped to shreds.

No worries. I wasn't really giving people grief for shopping at big boxes either. People can do what they want and they will do what they want. Apparently that big box savings is very important to a lot of people. I just think it's short-sighted. I don't believe the fact that working in retail isn't really a career in most cases these days is unrelated to the rise of the big box retailers.
