I knew this guy was the best player in the draft and a better QB than Luck but WOW..this guy is amazing...the only player ever in nfl history to throw for 75 yard t.d. and run one for 75 in a season...and most impressive of all is his 40 time on the final 40 yards of the run was timed out at 4.0 seconds and he was not even running full speed.

 I don't really care if ya believe me or not...but I told Redskingreg that RGIII was better than Luck in the preseason Bears/skins thread.

No shit. I don't remember anyone trumpeting RGIII as the better player.

I had no idea what to expect, so this is all gravy thus far.

In my main fantasy football league we start 2 QB's so I have RG3 and Tom Brady. We also decided this year we would be able to keep any 1 player we drafted after the 7th round or someone that we picked up via free agency as a keeper for next year. I just hope to God he stays healthy.

Even though RGIII is having a better year than Luck, I would take Luck over him in a heartbeat going forward.

I thought they brought him back too soon after the concussion, guess not..he looked great but risky move so early in this guys career.

That's the way I see. Last week, after beating the Packers, Luck was the name on everyone's lips.

I would probably lean towards Luck, but only because his style of play is infinitely safer. I think Griffin is a better player, and Im not even sure how close it is.

The biggest challenge for RGlll is making sure that he doesn't turn into Michael Vick.

He is already better than Vick, don't see that happening.

Yeah let's not get crazy.

Nah, that only lasted a day. I actually agree with him. Vick is one of the 5 or 6 worst starting QBs in the league right now.

I don't think I would go that far on Vick, although he has been bad. Just seems crazy to me to proclaim a rookie QB that has played less than half of one season better than a proven QB.

I guess the difference is I don't think of Vick as a proven QB. He should be benched. He is bad.

Weren't you the guy that had him as a top 10 QB and better than Cutler just a year or so ago?

Favrefan's thoughts on quarterbacks seem to be much more sane on facebook than they do on the message board.

:D

I don't know. Maybe. In 2010 he was a better player than Cutler. I doubt I would have ranked him like that after last season. He's been bad for the vast majority of his last 22 games. The sample size is becoming too large to ignore now. I definitely don't think he's better than Cutler right now, and there's no chance i would rank either as a top 10 QB currently.

I had Kirk Cousins better than him in that thread.

I still think Cousins can be a decent starter in the future..just not on the skins....at this point is is just foolish to compare Luck to the ROY RGIII...the league has never seen a rookie like this at that position..

My 30th b-day present from the GF was airfare, hotel, and two 200-level (third row) tickets to the Thanksgiving game. Man, what a blast. Never thought 96,000 people could be so quiet. I love you, RGIII.

Yeah it's silly that so many here pretend like Luck is better.

I would still take Luck, but just because I think he is going to have the longer career.

I think that's really the only factor favoring Luck.
