I believe I've invited you over the last few times but you blew me off both times. I don't know if my heart can take a 3rd time.

I'd have gone if I knew how to play poker. Sadly at this point, I don't think I ever will learn.

No I didn't. I've never denied this about Bernstein.

And I don't use words like the one you used.

I was talking about WM parties. Drop in,Don Tiny,Donspiracy, along with a buddy of mine from work watched it over here 2 years ago. Last year Bucky Chris and Bob Loblaw joined the party as well. The weather has been great the last two years so it's worked out perfect with the garage.

It's not "they". It's Dan Bernstein.

Terry cares far less about the PSU stuff than Dan does. He didn't do the PSU show during the rare times that Bernstein had the day off. He knows this is Bernstein's baby.

I think it began that way but Terry has definitely taken up the torch. "Uh, eh, eh, look, an indefinite death penalty that would have been about right, uh, eh, and then, come see me in two years, because, uh, look, again, that's the only way to clean this thing up when there's so much influence from the walking rectums like Franco Harris, Todd Blackledge, Matt Millen, Moron, MMMM."

What in the hell is that snippet of music used for "10 seconds of glory"?

It's a hip hop beat that samples the Jackson 5.

I was gonna post that it sounds like The Jackson 5. It's fucking terrible, fingernails on a balckboard, bad.

It's really annoying. Maybe the song itself is good (either the source or the song it's a beat for), but all I hear is this chipmunky "dah dahda da BAHHHHH dah dahda da BAHHHHH dah dahda da BAHHHHH dah dahda da BAHHHHH" over a bunch of mooks trying to be pithily witty and good god it's just radio death.

Yeah, that's a Jason Goff production and I agree that it's not a good beat. Tannehill should really consider using another music bed.

Square peg, round hole. Gotta keep the bed simple if the focus is new spoken-word content. Gotta keep beds simple in general, I feel.

Hub sounds like he'd rather be anywhere else then on the air with B&B. Hey fuckstick, I'm bored with your smug ass too. You've exposed yourself as a moron this year.

Glad to see the responses .... I kinda assumed that it was another case of my rampant racism that made me want to kill every time that six-weeks-past-annoying sound raped my very unwilling ears.

Caught them in the car today on the way home from the city.

Still bad.

I did enjoy them pretty much admitting that they shouldn't be participating in the Heisman vote.

Yes. That sample is way too overpowering for that segment.

I really think Tannehill should try to make the show more his if possible. In some ways, it still sounds like Goff is producing.

Particularly given that Dan's a self-described "football nerd," the whole that gimmicky spread-offense crap won't fly in the big-boy league! argument is such a bizarre, wantonly ignorant hill to die on. What offense do they think the Patriots run?

It's his ignorant belief that Pro sports = super complicated and College Sports = not complicated/dumb.

Same reason he creams his pants over some NBA coach "running tons of stuff" and totally ignores the technical aspects of a well run college basketball team. This is also in the same league has his disdain for crazy college football offenses when the pro teams run similar stuff.

I can't explain Terry going on and on about Alabama being too emotionally drained after the LSU game to defeat Texas A&M when the show wraps itself in the "Sports is a Spreadsheet" mantra. Surprised Dan didn't go after him about that....wait, no I'm not.

Because "the show" equals "Dan Bernstein." I told you guys this before. Terry's thoughts are closer to that of regular sports fans than people give him credit for. But B&B is basically the Dan Bernstein Show featuring Terry Boers, so Dan's thoughts are the show's identity.

Don't get it twisted.

I've said for a long while that Terry is useless.

And if there has been one single angel in the darkness that hasn't gotten this show twisted it's been SomeGuy.

This fact is most often manifested in baseball conversations when dan discusses "replacement players" as if they are actual people waiting in limbo to replace the likes of Gordon Beckham and/or Juan Pierre and Terry nervously mumbles as he obviously just doesn't want to get into a numbers argument with bernstein, although it is clear Terry is certain, that on some level, he understands the game of baseball more than bernstein ever could.

Also, I laughed when Thibodeau gave a one word answer to a simple question after last night's game after I recently heard dan explaining how great it is that NBA coaches always give you "the real stuff" and tell the truth unlike their NFL counterparts who constantly lie or treat reporters like the idiots they are or their MLB counterparts who are generally just drunk and naked. "Lovie Thibodeau." "Well, he can't tell the truth that his bench sucks." Who you crappin', bernstein?

There's also the paradox of his hatred for Charlie Weis, who, while by all accounts a rather abhorrent human, was at least adamant on running an NFL-style offense in an ocean of triple-spread-option gimmickry.

He hates Charlie Weis because he's fat.
