I really don't care for the ALS term, but i'm a big fan of Thibodeau and consider him a top 5 NBA coach. I think he figures this out and the Bulls win 45-47 games and the Central, and will have them back competing for a title next season.

I think he does, with a healthy Rose. We are seeing this season why he really was the MVP. With everyone in the NBA at full strength, I can only confidently say the Spurs, Thunder, Heat, and probably Grizzlies are better than the Bulls. And I'd still give them a shot against any of those teams in a 7 game series.

You don't think Brooklyn is better than the Bulls? I do. If/when Marshon Brooks learns how to play NBA defense, he will be VERY dangerous. They're solid at every position as it is. Personally, I don't think Avery Johnson is a very good coach.

You touched on the exact problem Brogue. That issue has not been resolved in the two years since the Bulls went to the ECF. The makeup of this team has not changed and it has been proven that this core is not good enough to beat Miami.

Also, Miami has only gotten better in the last two years.

No. I don't worry about Brooklyn whatsoever. Brook Lopez is in team photo for worst defensive player in the NBA. Wallace's athleticism is gone, meaning his game will be too shortly, since it was predicated on that. JJ has maybe two more years left of decent offensive production and he's slipping defensively, pretty noticeably I might add, by the week. I don't know what they plan to do long term at their 4 spot. I like Deron and Brooks though. I agree Avery is not a good coach. Plus I think their management is terrible all the way up through the owner. They probably wouldn't make my top 8 teams that I'm worried about going forward.

I don't think Miami has gotten better. Wade is worse than he was two years ago. They can still be dominated inside by the likes of Roy Hibbert. Lewis and Allen are on their past legs. I'm not sure I'd go that far with Haslem, but he's clearly lost a step.

As for the Rose/LBJ/Bulls roster thing, we really only have one series to base that on. I think Rose will continue to get better, while LeBron has peaked. I expect him to evolve like Kobe and Michael did, but I don't think he'll ever be better than he was last season. He's racking up a ton of mileage on those knees. And the Rose injury set the roster progression back a year. It's hard to know who will be here and who won't going forward, outside of Noah, Taj, and Lu. I think Noah and Lu are solid 2nd/3rd guys behind Rose. Once again I'll say that it they amnesty Boozer and land Kevin Martin this offseason, they will be every bit as good as any team in the NBA, provided they can shore up their bench some.
