Wtf was Vince thinking renaming him Dok Hendrix? He hates what he doesn't create. The fact that Hayes is the last living Freebird makes me feel verrry old. So many of my favorite wrestlers growing up are dead. I'm afraid Flair's gonna keel anytime.

That's true. There's a fair share of dead wrestlers that were younger than me. Maybe I should focus on the actors I grew up watching.

I've held a theory for about five years that Vince was waiting until Roberts died to induct The Freebirds into the HOF. "Look pal, I don't need a guy with a cancer kazoo on my stage. What's a Freebird anyway?"

RIP Buddy. I'd say I just missed his peak relevance, but watching his Parsons, and Von Erich feuds back was awesome.

Roberts was such an under appreciated member of the Freebirds. Gordy and PS got all the attention, but Roberts was the backbone of that thing. My first wrestling action figures when I was a kid were the Freebirds. RIP
