That's one of the reasons I love PFT.com. It's your one stop place to get all the info. Cuz Florio doesn't care about giving credit to his competition. He gets all of the rumors and reports from any and everybody across the country and throws it up on his site. Hub's PFW would never post a PFT report. So why go to Hub's website? Why go to ESPN.com?

Florio doing it this way is why his website is so popular.

This wouldn't be the first time Hub, willingly or unwittingly, did an agent's dirty work by spreading around rumor and innuendo that helps someone's bargaining position.

We'll see if this one comes true or not, but, it would be odd, since Gruden wants power, and it would be rather odd for a GM one year on the job to cede so much power to someone else.

Gruden was available a year ago when the front office was being shuffled, wasn't he?

I think the owner of the Raider is Al's son, Mike Davis.

It is strange. He hired a new GM last offseason and you're going to fire his first coaching hire after one season? Then again, Mike is Al's son, so maybe the apple doesn't fall too far from the tree. If true, this will be back to back "One and done" head coaches for the Raiders. Before that, they only had that meat head coach for 2 years I think. And they had the guy at USC for only 2 years as well.

If you hire Gruden, you might as well fire that new GM you hired. Cuz Gruden will be in charge and he'll just assign one of his friends to actually have the GM title.

This is why Hub is so stupid. I go to his website to read about his breaking story...he hasn't posted a story on it yet!!!!

All he did was say it on B&B. So Florio reported it and basically scooped Hub, nationally, on his own god damn story.

Now it's out there and will be passed around on twitter that Florio reported a report that was never published on Hub's website. The link that Florio provided was actually Dan Bernstein's twitter post saying "Gruden to the Raiders". If Hub had the story written, Florio probably would have linked that and got Hub a lot of hits.

Well then Hub has no idea how to publish. That should be the lead on the main page of PFW.com. Not burried in some article with other football news and notes. That's what I figured when I went to the main page. That is would be in a big headline. So Hub is still a dumb ass, cuz I guarentee you most football fans got his story from Florio.

Is it really news Gruden is talking to anyone about coaching? I would venture he has spoken to at least 10 programs (College and Pro) via direct or his agent.

Hence why I believe Hub just made this shit up. It's a really safe rumor to toss out there if ya got nothin else, and it's not substantial at all. I have no idea why Beardown thinks it should be a featured story and considers it a national scoop. It's a scoop if someone reports that he accepts a job there or somewhere else. "talking to a team" is not even a story.

Is it bullshit? Sure. But all of this NFL rumor stuff is bullshit. I'm just saying if you're in he business of reporting bullshit, a story like this should be in big headlines on your website. Isn't that the purpose of PFW? Grudon talking to the Raiders is a pretty big story that would bring traffic to your website. I look at the other shit they have and I don't want to click on any of those columns. I would click on the Grudon story. I'm sure most NFL fans are like me.

Nah, I'm sure it was "leaked" to him, but the problem is, the person who leaked it to him has an agenda. But, does Hub know if the info is legit, or if he is just being used? And, does he care?

Hub was tight with al davis. Al Davis took care of Hub making sure he was helped with the paper when Hubs dad died.

For the current Raiders' HC in Dennis Allen, this story is absolutely awkward, especially when you also add news that he just had a death in his family right after Sunday's loss to just as bad Cleveland. Allen is reportedly going to coach Oakland tomorrow night as they host the AFC West Champion Broncos on NFL Network's "Thursday Night Football", but I think he'll do so with a heavy heart.

Raiders strongly denying story making Hub look like an idiot.

Someone leaked some stuff to Hub and either Hub knew it and was a useful tool (har!) or he didn't know it and got used like a fool.

Peter King pretty much made Hub look like an idiot when on PTI today. It's a rumor that doesn't make sense.

Raiders just replaced the coaching staff this past off season.

Gruden got Jaws kicked to the curb.

Gruden got a big fat raise from ESPN.

Oakland FIRED Gruden years ago.

I have a feeling this is one of those "Guys, I reported what I was told. Turns out Gruden isn't going to Oakland. Like my earring?" moments for Hub.

If gruden was going to coach again, it would not be in Oakland..hub is full of shit.
