Speaking from personal experience, keeping it under wraps isn't a good thing. You may think that you have nobody to talk to it about but i'm willing to bet there are more people than you think that would lend you an ear. This was probably the most mentally and emotionally draining year I've had as an adult and no one died that I was close to. A lot of it was brought on by my inability to say no and being too prideful to ask for help. I doubt anyone around me noticed because of the gift/curse my grandmother passed on to me. Smiling and staying optimistic became tough. It was probably the first time doubt started to takeover. As trying as it was at times I wouldn't change any of it because it would force me to fundamentally change who I am and I wouldn't like looking in the mirror at that person. I believe the lessons of this year will payoff in the long run. I still have a lot to be thankful for and look forward to the blessings of 2013.
