I swear I heard "Gas, Gas, Gas" in an ad for a FM station during 9 to 1 a few days ago. Was that inserted -- or is that part of the actual ad? If it wasn't inserted, does that qualify as the drop?

Actually, it's not just a promo for sister station 104.3 K-Hits, but it's also been promoted during this show the last 2 weeks. It's the sounder from the Rolling Stones' "Jumpin' Jack Flash" that listeners need to hear and then call into The SCORE's contest number (312) 591-6700 twice during the Mac & Spiegs show to win 1 of 2 $500 gas cards that are up for grabs. Tomorrow's the last day to win.

I thought it had to do with Gas Station etiquette at a BP. Pulling up to the furthest pump out of consideration of others pulling behind.

I generally agree with that. The only problem is that gas caps aren't standard on a particular side of the vehicle. One man's furthest pump is another man's closest.
