I'll be curious to see where this guy ends up. I was surprised to see the potential trade for him recently given how much he has fallen off over the years, and not just off the mound.

When he can hit the zone... WHEN he can hit the zone... the guy has amazing stuff. I'm still curious if the crux of his problems are in his head or if he just was getting bad advice from coaches over the years.

Thats the thing though. That one pitch is incredible when it is located. Then you hear the so called experts saying how the coaches are trying to help him from falling off the mound and losing the accuracy on his pitch, yet he continues to fall off the mound.

He actually pitched well in the 2nd half last year after they told him he needed to throw more fastballs. He was mid 90's consistently with less bite on his slider believe it or not.

Given this is the last year of his contract, might as well move him and get something back, esp. if they eat some or alot of that 9.5M Hendry contract.

He was 20 for 23 in save opportunities last year.

Didnt watch any games last season, but I agree on getting something back for the money he has been paid and the results he has offered over his career as a Cub.
