I know that Vicki Lawrence occasionally donned the wig when "Mama's Family" was originally a skit on the old "Carol Burnett Show" in the '70s. I didn't care for the sitcom when NBC originally aired it from 1982-84 & syndicated from 1986-89. I don't care for reruns now.
