To be fair, he says "maybe." But it is an interesting conversation to isolate. He is supposed to be the moral compass, but his chief concern is always to protect Clark.

I like it. Interesting twist. Excited to see the full conversation, and more importantly, the society vs Clark theme they pump up in the trailer.

I lean toward this line of thinking. I don't hate him, but he's never captured my interest because he was made nearly invincible. I know they've done everything to back away from that over the years, but still...

It's not great, but the TV show Arrow on CW is decent. I like that. I'm excited to see how DC rebrands everything leading to the Justice League movie.

I actually think the part with Pa Kent is pretty genius. The whole noble father figure thing has been overdone in super hero movies. Uncle Ben....Bruce Wayne's Dad etc. As a farmer who took on the responsibilty of caring for an alien baby he would be justifiably suspicious of the motives of the rest of humanity concerning his super powered alien foster son.
