Every single game, every single time they have a big 3rd down call to make...confusion sets in and a timeout is needed! ALL THE DAMN TIME!

The Bad calls, the penalties, the bad blocking, it's just bad football players, but the inability to communicate between the coaches and the players is so amazingly bad.

Somewhere Ron Turner is smiling!

Tice might be "coaching" himself out of the league. Lovie has never grabbed the playcalling duties from any O. coordinator, because he can't!

The last time the Bears had sustained success the HC was an offensive coach.

You can cite many examples over the last nine years to indicate Lovie may not be the most organized person in his game planning. It's almost as if every slightly unusual situation is one the coaching staff had not considered during the week.

I sort of agree but doesn't Tice problems with getting the plays in and a few creativity issues prove that he's nothing more than a really good OL coach?

If you think creativity and play calling make him a bad OC, what about the OL play makes you believe he is a really good OL coach?

It's been going on for the entirety of Lovie's tenure. The only difference is we were talking about it inevitably getting better because if it didn't then you can start throwing around really ugly words to describe the mental state in doing the same stupid shit over and over. Of course that isnt the case - this is just a matter of phenomenal, inexplicable, ineptitude.

And the media is to blame for not putting this into proper context in that this has been going on since he's been here. That this team had tangible, electronics-based communication issues for over a year. That they only addressed it publicly after Cutler did, several weeks into a new season, after dealing with it all the previous season.

It is this kind of stuff that leads to to believe with every fiber of me being that this is a dumbass organization from top to bottom. And I think I almost got my wish with Marshall coming so very close to making it public knowledge, yesterday.

When they rank these organization based on multiple factors, whether you take it seriously or not, there is a reason why the Bears are at the bottom. I just wish someone would call them out in a more public fashion - not just on a list in Forbes, or whatever the fuck.

Tice is, as he appears, a big, dumb, meathead. He has no business being an OC and never did but that is what you get with Bear personnel searches especially with a head coach working on a short contract (I believe we have seen this at least twice with the Bears).

It is Lovie's job to make sure that administrative mistakes don't get repeated from week to week.

Obviously preparation, right? Do other coaches, and at what rate, do this? I would have always thought this is something you learn the first week of coaching, how to prepare for scenarios.

You wonder what makes him a good HC (even people who would like to see him gone are saying he is a good HC...?) when he cannot gameplan and is a terrible in-game coach. So he is liked by the organization and his players, according to some of his players. Great.

I mean dont you figure out when it makes strategic sense to call a timeout this far into your career?

The Bears take longer on almost all plays, and I can tell the difference by my Tivo. When I use the "skip-ahead-30-seconds" button between Bears offensive plays, the play always resumes a few seconds before the Bears snap the ball. When I do this for the Bears' opponent, I almost always end up missing the start of the play (it was certainly true for the Packers game yesterday). That tells me it takes about 5 seconds more on average for the Bears to get the play in.
