Why do I think Larry doesn't need to worry about that stuff. Just stick to sports, DePaul basketball and comics, Larry.

My girlfriend is convinced that Leery is trapped in the closet with R. Kelly.

Yes.

It should've been shelved 2 years ago.

I haven't been listening but the segment is always worse when Laurence is involved. He makes it really bad radio.

E-mail craps are the worst. WYC is better without Dan. He makes it so serious.

Did he do the thing where he starts laughing riotously midway through the setup, so we all know that he's the first one to get the joke? I love when he does that.

Dan cuts off a guy because he called Holmes, J-Hood, really. So how long is Dan on vacation? I know Terry probably won't be back til the new year

1st time listening to WYC in a while and it was awful. Have there always been this many bernstein sycophants? How terrible is your life that you call in looking for bernstein's approval?

What's worse is that Bernstein enjoys it, which has to be the reason WYC is still on. This show is all sorts of bad and is only compounded by Larry. The level of bad is only eclipsed by Double Z and his lame ass Bears show that starts now. Radio goes dark until Hub saves the day with his nonsense.

Bears Anal Access has a live audience this week, which makes it even more surreal.

I would agree with this. If this were in fact true, I wouldn't share my decision-making process with others because you aren't doing it right.

There were most certainly other reasons that he chose or needed to go to DePaul. He just uses this story as a slap at Illinois and to be able to participate in Bernsie's downstate cracker discussion with accents where everyone outside of Chicago sounds like they live in wooden sheds in Mississippi.

I've never experienced the "cow" smell that Larry is referring to.

Larry never came close to ever threatening Murph personally.

Larry never threw an actual party where good looking women showed up.

I too call bullshit.

So you're calling bullshit on bull shit?

It's not implausible that with the right mix of wind and temperature, the entire Champaign-Urbana region can find itself awash in the smell of cow manure.

It happens.

But, if you based your college decision on it, you might want to ask somebody to find out that it happens about two days a year.

I've visited my cousin and brother down in Champaign a bunch of times and was never greeted with the smell. I'd say I've gotten more whiffs of sewage walking around downtown.

He could've just said he prefers the vibe of a city university...perfectly understandable.

Larry also said that he was gonna stay in the NW suburbs tonight, hit the hotel bar, pick up a cooger and bang her. That was a lie too. Larry knows that this can't happen for him.

For OKC, our fact checker, I'm paraphrasing Larry on this one, but that's basically what he implied.

Vernon Hills is not a northwest suburb.

Love,
Native Northwest Suburban

Unless you're saying he would trek out to Elk Grove just to pick up some woman staying at a Radisson on a business trip? Shake? That?

Extremely disconcerting portmanteau of "cooze" and "booger." I'd really like to unring this particular bell.

No, but there is a Lower Sackville! It's outside of Halifax. It's my favorite Atlantic Canada place name, with "Happy Valley Goose Bay" a close second.

Quite frankly, I'm not even sure if the scenerio that Larry described would interest him. Gotta keep up a front, though.

I thought I heard Larry or Bernstein say they were in the NW suburbs. Maybe I didn't. I didn't know where they were when I tuned in.

Alright. I was just throwing out scenerios. Then it means he didn't get accepted. Or maybe the parents didn't want to spend the money even if they could afford it. Who knows? Just saying that "Cow smell" isn't a reason to decide on a college. It wasn't for Larry. He lied.

I didn't see the question until he reposted it.

I really can't wait for Speeps Jr. to get to that age. That sounds lovely.

If he's well behaved and well disciplined, you won't have to worry about that kind of behavior. He seems like a good kid. Albeit, I can only tell by the pictures, but still...

Knowing everything about everyone at the Score as you do, why would that even be considered as a viable scenario?

I think the cow smell was his "clever" way of saying he didn't want to be in a University town. He's used to the bright lights.

I figure out a lot of people very quickly. Not just Score people. It's a skill I'd rather not have. I'd rather be naive and trusting like all of you people. Cuz figuring out people quickly is depressing. A lot of them suck. It's easier to be a dumb simpleton. Life is a lot less complicated that way I would imagine.
