We first learned about Lou Gehrig's disease when our friend Brian was diagnosed with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis or ALS. Brian is not only an incredible person, but Brian has a 3-year-old daughter and a beautiful wife. Brian and his family were just starting their life together when he received news of his diagnosis.

We quickly researched the disease and could not believe the severity and cruelty of ALS. It has been a longtime desire of ours to host a charity fashion show in our hometown of Chicago. We felt it was only natural for us to make our first fashion show dedicated to raising funds for research, patient care and family support for those suffering from ALS.

Please support us in the fight against ALS by purchasing tickets or donating to the Strike a Pose Celebrity Fashion Show. It will be a great event featuring all your favorite Cubs players as you have never seen them before! We are so excited to help give ALS a voice in this city and look forward to sharing this time with you.

He's saving that for the male models.

ALS is horrible. My wife's godfather suffered from it for two years, before he finally passed. It was so bad at the end, that he couldn't even cut his own food.
