forget that Dan. The term is highly inferior, average tasting macro brew.

Here's the Friday Game Plan w/Bernstein & Bowen:

*3:30P: "The Second Half"

*4P: BTN's Gerry DiNardo
Can Northwestern Beat MS State in Tuesday's Gator Bowl? Can Wisconsin Beat Stanford in the Rose Bowl?

*4:20P(?): The SCORE/WBBM Newsradio/Bears Radio Network's Zach Zaidman
A Final Bears/Lions' Preview; Brian Urlacher's Return?

"Scoreboard Updates" (For Now): Connor McKnight

He sat in with Bernstein yesterday and he's back at his regular time tonight for the "Miller Lite Top Draft Show". Like him or loathe him, Laurence Holmes follows Bernstein & Bowen and he'll be live starting @ 6P with Bears' Pro Bowl CB Tim Jennings at Guide's Tap, 5544 S. Archer. Jennings joins Holmes @ 7P this eve. They didn't update the schedule on 670thescore.com, so I think Yahoo! Sports Radio takes over @ 10P.

What a surprise that Dan doesn't like the idea of everyone's job being up for grabs. "People who make a lot of money are people, too!"

Feed your idiot kids Cornish hens Bowen! My kids are fucking adorable BTW, and I eat whatever I want and am not fat because I wear the big boy pants at home.

This show is so wonky I feel like Aaron Sorkin wrote it.

Norm talking about most things was a great listen. He was a terrific storyteller.

Bernstein trying to impress Bowen with X and O's terminology. Don't forget to mention the Mike backer Bernsie!

Norm could also polish off a fifth of Jack Daniels in fewer than 18 holes like nobody's business.

I appreciate that Matt isn't trying to fool anyone and acknowledges that he was a journeyman. But he learned alot and knows what he's talking about.

Jim Miller on the other hand was a crap QB but aggresively criticizes the QB play of Cutler as if he was a retired a pro bowl QB and Cutler offends his QB sensibilities.

Jim Miller happens to have a Super Bowl ring from his days in New England.

Jim Miller was better than crap. His steeler time was ok and was he on Atlanta? Anyway I think backups make the best broadcasters and coaches. They learn more imo.

SHARK speaks the truth, even though Miller held a clipboard when he won his Super Bowl ring.

He didn't attempt a pass from 2002-2004.

Belichick liked old crusty veteran QBs in Brady's early years. Testsverde and Flutie are other examples.

I know Miller knows a lot.

He was apart of 2 SB teams and backed up a lot of QBs.

Brunnel
Chandler
O'Donnell
Brady
Brad Johnson

Bowen commenting on Lil Danny's prowess in the kitchen and what he feeds his kids while stating his 3 boys under 5 yrs of age are mac n cheese. pizza types and would never eat something like a cornish hen, Bernstein then asked why not, its just like chicken ( you mouth breathing rube)

Me perhaps exaggerating Dan's castigating Matt Bowen for feeding his kids hotdogs for dinner, then seguing into how he and his children prepare 3 dinners each night.

If its just ordinary chicken, why insist on calling it Cornish? Isn't Bernstein implying that by being Cornish, it's not ordinary chicken?

My favorite Norm moment was when he was on AM 1000 with Lance McCalister. A caller and he were basically in a screaming match. The caller just about dropped the N word. Norm said, "Go ahead and say it! I'll come through this phone and strangle your ass!!!"

I really miss NVL. :(
