I originally had no interest in this show as I don't for most shows on TV, even IFC. But a good friend of mine showed me a few episodes last night and I was pretty impressed. It's not going to appeal to everyone but if you've been to Portland or any hippy utopia, you should find it amusing.

It does a good job of making fun of Portlanders, like the Women First book store, people who are way too "techy", locally farmed and bred animals for restauraunts, people who are trying too hard to stay ahead of trends...etc.

It has a bit of Tim & Eric style comedy, in that some of it is random off-beat and irreverent. But I think it has more focus than T&E and in some ways resembles Kids in the Hall or the State.

I recommend it for sketch comedy fans, and anyone who likes laughing at Portland.

I've watched them all on Comcast on demand and enjoyed it. Impressed that it's the guitarist from SK. Loved the Battlestar Galactica episode and they even had a Portland Timbers sketch.

Really enjoyed the episode where they wanted to know the life story behind of the chicken they were ordering.

Marathon on today, and a new episode in a few days. Love this show.

Yeah, I checked it out after the wife and I went there in November. It is a perfect exaggeration of what the people there are really like. The first sketch in the first episode where they are ordering the chicken got me hooked. Fred Armisen's quote about driving rally had cracking up.

"Did i drive too slow on the way here? I have so many problems with the gas pedal. It's so confusing."

Driving around Portland for half a week made me appreciate how good drivers are in the Chicago area. Portland might have the most defensive drivers I have ever seen in my life. It was like driving in a city filled with my Grandma behind the wheel.

Meh. The only episode that made me chuckle was the one where Aimee Mann was their maid.
