Great first season. It's what a trashy soap would be if it was set in England at the turn of the twentieth century with the trashiness seemingly dialed back only because people are dressed in fancy costumes. It also happens to be hilarious.

I've been known to have the occassional sex with a woman and watch this show. I'll admit it is not as watchable now as it once was when I was gay.

Well, if you like sports, give Sunday Night Football a try sometime. Me, I can't usually watch myself because my girlfriend's a Downton Abbey fan which pretty much makes me a Downton Abbey fan. But I do love to watch a good football game. Mmm. You know what they call football in France? That's right! Le football Américain. Check out the big brain on dolphin!

Middle Aged Crazy, like Uncle Terry

Yeah so it looks like Lady Mary has finally met her match--I'd like to turn that devious little ho inside out. She's so mean to Lady Edith. And Anna went a little overboard with the botox. She is incapable of showing facial emotion despite crying to Bates at some point in every episode.

Aren't Upstairs, Downstairs and Downton Abbey like the exact same show? and not in the sense that ER and Scrubs both take place in a hospital?
