Really kinda sucks! While the goal of 80ish wins for this team is hopefully a stepping stone...the fact is the schedule just sucks!

June weekend Home games v Pirates and Astros...Yawnnn
July Pirates again.....and Yes Cards...OK one weekend
August Cards, Dodgers and Phillies....Yes...good games...no issue in August

Local road games...Both series to Milwaukee are in the middle of the week..and Sox are Sun to Thursday?

July 4...at Oakland! uughhh

Even the Sept penant push has mostly good teams to play.

The Sox and Cubs are playing 5 games?

I don't understand the Milwaukee thing. Brewers should be here and Cubs should be there one weekend each season. I would imagine both teams fanbases make weekends out of going to see their team play on the road.

Brewers fans don't even make weekends of seeing them in Miller Park.

All this because the Astro's moved to the AL. I hope to catch some Kane County games this season and watch future Cubs .

Brewers 11th in home attendance last year and 7th in 2011....

They might be drunken assholes, but they show up.

Because why would one make a weekend out of watching his/her own team in the team's city?
