This only tangentially relates to your post but since you're comparing Dan to a giant douche I figured I'd add this. A few days ago Terry was making a point about how great the Redskins drafted since it netted them RGIII, Kirk Cousins, and Alfred Morris. Dan agreed in part but not before throwing some shade at Cousins. While he made a halfway valid point eventually, pointing out that Cousins would likely be on a different team in a couple of years, Dan appears to go out of his way to let us know that he prefers his athletes to be black. While he wasn't directly pointing this out his knee-jerk response to Terry's mention of Cousins wasn't "Hey, you're right, he was able to step in and win a game as a backup whereas Cutler's backup essentially cost the Bears their 2011 season" but rather was dismissive "meh".
It's one thing to make fun of people who worship the Ecksteins of the sports world for their thinly veiled racism, but at some point Dan's trolling of these people results in dumb, lazy thoughts.
