Coconut water should only be drunk if stranded on a desert water with no fresh water source.

I'm listening throught the ear-splitting static on my radio downtown. I'm a BIG FAN.

W&S is absolutely brutal.

I see Bernstein is trying to show us his urban cred and flexing his proletariat muscles by talking about the cta.

What? The Brown line is one of the cleanest, safest lines in the system. I always envied that line.

I've been taking the CTA since I was 14. Took the subway everyday to school. It's just a part of life but for Bernstein it's "ooooo, urban life. Look at me I live in the city."

Is the "Ask Herb" segment a good one? In my mind it seems like it might be most enjoyable. In my mind is probably a tumor, too.

Well, "Dr. Phil" isn't available, but it'll be on the nighttime SCORE with Laurence come 9P this eve. Thanks to bad DePaul basketball, the segment featuring SCORE producer Herb Lawrence airs tonight. It normally airs Tuesday when live play-by-play doesn't pre-empt.

Rank Chicago railroads by street (or viaduct) cred from most to least!

Green Line
Metra Electric
Pink Line
Everything else
Brown Line
Purple Line
Yellow Line

Dan just endorsed football coaches being public employees who make $5,000,000 because they matter so much. Pfft.

Well we could rank by overall volume of passengers.

I just know the brown, purple, and yellow lines aren't used as much.

Red line,
Blue Line,
Pink line,
Green Line
Orange line.

Brown Line has to be right up with the Red and Blue. The population density is highest on the north side.

The stupid thing is all these SEC Bible Belt schools are in the terrible shape in terms of poverty. They have little revenue from taxes and they receive the most federal aid.

Believe this is correct. About 4 years ago they had to expand all Brown line platforms because they needed to add cars to the routes. Still can have standing room only during off peak hours.

Which is why the money Saban and other coaches generate is so important.

The Tribune's Dave Van Dyck is about to join the guys to discuss the Baseball Hall of Fame turned Baseball Hall of Shame right now. Usually when Dave joins "Mully & Hanley in the Morning", we hear the classic "Dick Van Dyke Show" theme as his introduction.

I wonder what percentage of listeners to WSCR the Score listen online. It is amazing how many times the stream craps the bed each day.

The Metra Electric has to be right up there in terms of cred, I'm sorry.

I liked the episode when Dick was a shoe saleman and a hot lady walked in to be fitted.

Beni, it's a corporate issue beyond The SCORE's control. I think I've heard quite a few complaints about the lack of streaming capability on the site this week.

MeTV still airs more classic episodes like that and more @ 9:30P weeknights...
