It makes me laugh. Ty Cobb is always the poster boy for why you should let the steroid people in the HOF.

The argument is always, "Well, Ty Cobb was a racist, and he got in, so everybody should get in the HOF if they have the stats."

Ty Cobb played in the early 1900s. All white people in the early 1900s were racist!!!! Christ, the very league he played in didn't allow black players. MLB endorsed racism at the time.

I've noticed that about Rodey over the last few months. As an update guy, you're suppose to change your copy up. Obviously it's gonna be a lot of the same stories, but just change the writing to say it differently. He's to lazy to do that. I remember once he told the same stupid Joe Paterno joke in every update. He thought it was hilarious every time. You could actually hear the pride in his voice over his stupid joke.

George Ofman had a top of the hour copy and a separate one for the bottom of the hour.

You can also tell The SCORE is shorthanded, too. It's been a long day already for the John Clayton-sounding Matt Rodewald, who also did updates on the "Mac & Spiegs Show" before this show.

Lodge, now morning man at Anaheim's KLAA-AM, was guest hosting Gottlieb's "Lead Off" on CBS Sports Network late last night. Gottlieb's co-host Allie LaForce...Nowhere to be found.
