Going up for back to back competitions this coming up weekend. Friday night is more of the day that we want something kid friendly. There is a Texas roadhouse near our hotel and places like Culvers. But the rub is we need a place where she can carb or protein load on Friday night as saturday we are most likely to end up at a Irish pub place.
Any and all suggestions are welcomed

I'd be more worried about places that are Hoffy friendly than HRH... Load the kiddo up on Mac and Cheese, she will be fine, he will be hungover.

Carbo load? You have to be fucking kidding me.

I think there is an old speakeasy called Prohibition which is themed and kid friendly.

Kopps or Leon's for frozen custard and high-quality fast food are ideal for kids.

Jake's is a great deli and is also kid-friendly.

Zaffiro's and Calderone Club are good bets for pizza.

Oscar's Frozen Custard in Waukesha. I think it's on Moreland heading east. Good burgers, great custard. Went there all the time as a kid.

Take in some culture at the Performing Arts Center, while one of you heads over to Art's Performing Center.

Oscar's is probably my fourth favorite Milwaukee frozen custard after Leon's, Kopp's, and Bella's Fat Cat.

Kopp's and Oscar's are all I know. I love the interior of the Kopp's in Greenfield I want to say? It's all silver, like some hyperefficient German factory. Der Kustardwerk.

Yes carb loading. These kids are essentially going in really fast short spurts so the more energy the better.
thank you for all the suggestions.

The spy-themed Safe House in downtown Milwaukee is kid friendly until about 7:00 and worth checking out if you've never been there...very retro fun.
As for carb loading I would suggest any of the well known German restaurants such as Mader's or Karl Ratzches.
