The Hangover was the most overrated comedy since American Pie.

I think American Pie is a great movie that can hold its own with others in the pantheon of the coming of age comedy genre

American Pie was hilarious when I was in High School. It doesn't really hold up now that I am older.

I think it holds up for people who are coming of age currently.

Disagree. People acted like it was on the level of a great Farrelly brothers comedy or a comedy classic.

It was ok. Certainly not amazing though

I rented this and watched it on Friday night. For a movie the commercial called one of the funniest movies of all
time I was really let down. (obviously the commercial would say that) Very few laugh out loud moments and I
had seen a few of those about 100 times on reviews or commercials. It wasn't a total waste of time or anything,
but I only found it mildly funny. Now I may be one of the only people ever to not see Flash Gordon, although I
know who he is, but found the parts with him to be among the best.

Rented it Friday and was excited to watch it. I actually wanted to go to the theater to watch it but was too busy. This might have been the biggest pile of shit movie I've seen in awhile. I wanted Ted and Marky Mark to both die after watching it. Turned it off after the dinner scene where Ted and Mila Kunis get in a fight. Dumb fucking movie.

This was my initial reaction to seeing it in the theater last summer. We made it through the movie, but being a Family Guy/Cleveland/American Dad fan, I thought this would be really good. I was very disappointed. Like redskingreg said, the jokes missed far more often than they hit.

Being excited for this movie seemed bizarre to me since it looked like one of the biggest piles of garbage ever. Then again being excited for anything MacFarlane-related seems bizarre to me.

Pretty much what I said when I went and saw it at the theater. The theater was full and more times than not, no one laughed during scenes that were "suppose" to be funny. Since when is shit on the floor so funny?

Ironically, one of my brother in laws said it was the funniest movie he had ever seen and bought me the dvd for christmas. I had to pretend I liked it when I opened it.

I stumbled on 21 Jumpstreet on cable a couple of weeks ago and forced myself to watch a movie I thought I'd hate. This movie was a lot funnier and more entertaining than Ted. 3 stars!!! Ted- 1/2 Star.

I almost rented that last night. How bad was it?

It wasn't one of the funniest movies I've ever seen but it was very good. I liked the concept and I think they executed it well.

It was a solid B, but I have no need to watch it ever again.
