Treme is alright, I've seen some it.

With new wave hairdos I want girls.

I have really enjoyed Treme, but can see how some might not enjoy it. Pacing can be an issue if you have a need for speed. I also liked Oh Brother Where Art Thou which was pretty slow moving as well. From a character development standpoint, I think if Deadwood had been given another season that would have been one of my favorites. Treme wins for music and personal reminiscence alone.

This. HBO really fucked everyone over with what they pulled.

I would watch Treme simply just for the music, even if I didn't care for the plot of the show at all.

She was very upset last season because she needed to lose eleven pounds. Twenty five would have been the number that I would have used, but to each their own.

dunham was on stern this past week. i think she strikes me as a typical film grad feminist writer who has that "phony hollywood party" social outlook, while being a prickish introvert.

i don't think she's as clever as she probably thinks she is. i will probably never watch this show.

I admire her bravery....but she really doesn't need to be naked anymore. Sunday nights episode was plenty.

Bravery? Is it not readily apparent that she has a bad body when fully clothed. She isn't revealing anything we don't already know. I didn't need Cathy Bates to be naked in that movie to know I didn't want to see Cathy Bates naked.

Bravery in the sense that most women who look like that tend to keep it covered. Her awful back tattoos included. She actually looks like she gained 20 pounds from last season.
The last 15 minutes of Sundays episode she was essentially t0pless.

I think they purposely make the character wear clothes that accentuate the worst of her. Yeah, she's got a bad body, but when you see her dressed up at an awards show in proper clothes that fit, she doesn't look as freakish.

Thought that episode was weird in a really good way. This season has been much better than season one.
