Did you know Marc Trestman has a law degree? Wow. This is one impressive guy. No one but Phil Emery would have had the vision, foresight, and subtle genius to make this hire, particularly given the flood of state secrets unleashed by his coaching search. Truly, we are in his debt.

Listen and learn something.

The McCaskeys are allowing the Bears to be run by Really Smart People. I heard Trestman flips his hips while he breaks down the Wide 9!

That's why we need Really Smart People to run this board.

Phil Emery, shown below, prepares to call Mark Trestman to offer him the head coaching position for the Chicago Bears.

We're getting assistants from the Mountain West now, too. We're almost getting to, like, when the Raiders hired a guy who had retired from coaching to run a bed and breakfast.

It would be very interesting to match up the comments of these guys about Chip Kelly and Marc Trestman. If Chip Kelly and other college coaches smoke and mirrors gimmick offenses won't work in the NFL why would you trust that a CFL offense would?

I'd be cool with that actually. B&B would immediately get more interesting.

Picked the wrong day to quit sniffing glue, I guess.

CH is right, though. I shouldn't be making show threads--I don't even have a law degree!

Marc Trestman's book was published by Bernstein Books. Everything makes sense now.

Ross' journey into writing started back in the late '80s at the University of Minnesota, when he tried out for and got cut from the school's top-ranked Golden Gopher hockey team. Wanting to still be a part of the team, however, Ross opted for the next best thing... to become the team mascot "Goldy the Gopher!" He then wrote a book about it, "Gopher Hockey by the Hockey Gopher," and now, nearly 50 books later, the rodent-turned-writer has made a career out of it

A hockey-loving Bernstein.

"rodent-turned-writer" is a phrase that i think Terry would instantly fall in love with.

I'm sure Dan will have some inside scoops from his "guy". Hub will be on at 5 to piss on the hire, which is fine by me. I'm guessing they try to get Snitch Bowen on to give us some bad thoughts.

That's it! Marc Trestman was Dan's guy! They attend the same synagogue and will use this to secure public financing for Soldier Field and the B&B Sports Minute! #allpoliticsislocal

Oh dearest of dear lords.

Quote:
As you begin speaking, consider moving from behind the lectern to beside it. Using furniture as a figurative shield adds an unnecessary layer between you and the audience, and symbolic visibility has value. Movement conveys positive energy. If you watch the smoothest, most successful CEOs at shareholder meetings or product rollouts, you’ll notice none is static or obstructed.

And then after you're done standing beside the lectern to show you're One Of Us, consider locking a contract for Brian Urlacher in your desk drawer.
