Diff'rent Strokes father is dead. His doctor confirmed he died of a atypical stroke.

I assumed she was long dead.

Todd Bridges, my friend, still walks amongst us.

I used to have a mult on a board called philip drummondbass. I feel oddly connected to this death... I think it warrants an avatar change </thought>

Todd Bridges is still very much alive, guys. He's a commentator on TruTV's appropriately-titled "World's Dumbest", according to his Wikipedia page.

Ditto for Mary Jo Catlett. She's the actress who joined the cast as Pearl the housekeepper on "Diff'rent Strokes" from 1982 until the show ended in 1986.

No way. She looked 74 when the show was on TV

I need to study her some more. Perhaps I'll do a spread of her in the NSFW thread.

Different strokes for different folks.

See, you know you're old when you see Mary Ann Mobley's name and your first thought is "she's a babe" and then realize that she's now 73.

Mary Jo Catlett is still very active in Hollywood since "Diff'rent Strokes" left the air in '86:

That's like Kenny Williams signing Griffey when he couldn't walk or lift his bat.

If there was a Hall of Fame for Canada, Conrad Bain would be the inaugural inductee.
