Basically, right now Bubba is on the stand facing anywhere from 1-60 clips from his shows where he called a competitor's wife a whore, and the defense is basically "YEAH... so?" --- The guy suing him got his ass handed to him in the ratings in 2008, so he held on to the technicality of his wife being called a whore to try and get him legally/financially.

It's compelling, in a twisted reality television type of way. It's real. It's awesome.

it's getting quite contentious. watching bubba squirm is hilarious.... when i met him IRL he asked me if i wanted a picture with him and seemed quite off-put when i was like "hell no" and the look on his face when he realized i wasn't awed by his presence and whatnot, it gave me an insight into his personality.

bubba's used to being the king of his fiefdom, but even tho it's totally a bullshit technicality, MJ is gambling that he can get some money out of the guy when his dirty laundry is aired out in front of a bunch of random people/judges/lawyers.
