I'll have some for Saturday for sure. But at $18 a 6 pack that won't be a beer I'll be sharing.

I was surprised when I learned of the $17 price tag. I now have no qualms over Mariano's one-per-customer limit.

Yeah I have alot of fun shit coming up that I'd like to have a really good beer for those occasions. I can't justify spending $35 on a 12 pack of Hopslam when I can buy a whole case of Zombie Dust or Gumball Head for the same price. One 6 pack is enough.

I view it as $3 per bottle. What would you pay for the same bottle at a restaurant? $8? $10? Might be faulty logic, but it helps me justify a heftier price tag for craft beers. I had a Lagunitas Sucks last weekend. That was pretty damn good. Think it's a limited release.

Hopslam is the goods. Expensive but very good. Had some last year and awaiting it's arrival to the local liquor stores.

Mariano's has it now. Binny's said they expect it tomorrow.

Binny's in Downers Grove has some, as well as a little out of the way place I frequent.

2 six packs of Hopslam = win

Went to Binny's in Buffalo Grove at lunch and they didn't have it yet. Said 2mrrw afternoon. So I picked up some Deschutes offerings and a couple bombers of SPiteful Brewing and Pipeworks brewing offerings. Hopslam is awesome - worth the money!

Was just told at Bloomingdale that they will have it tomorrow afternoon or Friday afternoon (beer guy was gone. Stogie guy and beer nerd wasn't sure)

He said Arlington has it. or at least had it.

Also Bloomingdale is gonna start carrying Revolution in a week or so. Lots of the small batch stuff right off the bat.

Revolution is all over Palatine. Make a trip a little further north. Though I can't justify spending $10 on a Double Fist bomber when I see a $4 Hop Stoopid bomber to its left.

I guess they are gonna have a lot of the bourbon based stuff in the initial shipment. I haven't been down to Rev yet so I'm not quite sure what they have.

Has anyone heard about the Stone Enjoy by 4-1-13 IPA? Apparently it is coming to IN but not IL.
