WOW! I remember when Ahmad Rashad actually proposed to Phylicia Ayers-Allen (at the time) when NBC Sports had the AFC package, circa 1985.

You know Manti Te'o talk will be front & center, not just with the news yesterday that Katie Couric(?) will get the Notre Dame LB's first on-camera interview Thursday on "Katie". Bernstein has some thoughts about Manti and why he feels the LB is "A Liar" here:

Transition should be pretty good. Spiegel has been passive aggressively bitching out Bernsy all show.

I agree with Spiegel. The Super Bowl always kills any/every story to death. Just enjoy it for what it's worth and move on.

I'd prefer to wait for all of the facts to come out on this story. At least Bernstein has an opinion about something.

I think it means: "Retweet this if you are a beautiful strong sports talk show host who don't need no ESPN telling you how to raise your kids."

They've updated the schedule on 670thescore.com, and indeed Boers is away all week. As for who sits in w/Bernstein:

Today-Wednesday: Laurence Holmes
Thursday: The Trib's Steve Rosenbloom
Friday: Matt Abbatacola (!)-Live Broadcast at Once Upon a Bagel-Highland Park

As for who subs for Holmes from 6-10P:

Tonight: Hub Arkush
Tuesday: Joe Ostrowski & Connor McKnight
Wednesday: McKnight & Zach Zaidman

The latenight SCORE from 10P-Midnight:

Tonight: Connor McKnight
Tuesday: Wayne Randazzo
Wednesday: Joe Ostrowski

Holmes returns to the nighttime SCORE Thursday & Friday, both 6-10P, including his live broadcast from SoxFest at the Palmer House Hilton Friday night.

I admit to being so happy that caller explained the train battery deal and that even he is puzzled what a fella could adapt those thing to. Saved me hours of likely fruitless research.

Grimacing at these Ray Lewis sound drops praising God's power to aid in his football game.....So god is there to help your f*cking football team, butttt not there to protect 18 innocent children. Makes sense.

yeah look, I'm a firm believer in God...

...but I don't know that God needs Ray Lewis faking emotion or invoking him. I'm usually for athletes doing what he's doing. But he seems to be manufacturing the emotion....calling it up for the moment. Saw him switch from reporter to reporter, and suddenly "become" overcome by emotion. Seemed totally fake.

Seeing the continuing deification of this asshole for the next 2 weeks is going to be the worst part about the Super Bowl, far more annoying than any Harbaugh brothers angle thats going to be beat into the ground.
