Pretty good episode. The fight seen with the huge double ended dong had me laughing pretty good.
If you enjoy lowbrow humor it is a must see show for sure.

Did you guys catch the sweet cameo in last week's episode where they were racing to get to teh office to beat Alice there because they left all those voice messages on her phone?

The bus driver was played by Hawthorne James, the same guy who played the bus driver in Speed. And of course they had a Speed reference when Adam announced there was a bomb on the bus and the bus could not go under 55 mph.

Now that you mention it I do remember that. He looked really familiar but never really put two and two together.

The "It's just cans!" was a Speed reference, too. I believe it's when Keanu hits the baby carriage.

Season finale was ok I guess. It was interesting to see how they all met. Not as many laughs as usual for me though.

I don't know that any episode could be as funny as last weeks. That was just comedy gold. This show is still the best thing on TV.

I've tried watching this show and can't get past the first episode. Is that the worst of the bunch?

Its definitely not as polished as some of the later ones. Keep at it. They can be watched in any order really. I recommend the episodes Checkpoint Gnarly (S1E5) and To Friend a Predator (S1E8) from Season 1 and Temp-Tress (S2E3) and Teenage Mutant Ninja Roommates (S2E7) from Season 2. And all of Season 3 has been hilarious. They have kicked it up a notch.

DVR Portlandia, then wait five days to watch it. Problem solved. And color me excited for Workaholics' return.

I wasn't as impressed with last night. Nice cameo by Robert Englund though.

this show sucks. for something like the ~5th time in the last week or two, i've stumbled across the supernatural/seance episode via channelflipping and i can't help but come to a public forum and say "wow, this show sucks."

i've seen bits and pieces of a good handful of episodes over the last few years, and while there's some herpy derpy slapsticky kneeslappin stuff (which is definitely helped out by any sort of intoxicating reagent in one's sytem) i just..... i don't get it. societal standards are indeed lowering if people think this is some sort of clever/witty/etc show.

when i've seen the topic of this show broached on 4chan or other more "juvenile" forums (at least in terms of the demo/median-age-of-the-avg-poster) typically anyone who has a mindset such as mine is eventually met by the outwardly-rationalizing types who are all "look, the show is funny escapist stoner humor and i enjoy it so stop your stupid bitching and shut up and go away if you don't agree"

you know, the kind of people who get their ass kicked at a debate and try to save face by going "so we'll agree to disagree, ok?"

this show is also packaged with the arguably-even-more-dumbass kroll show. this show wreeks of trying too hard, whether it's the stupid hipster glasses that creepface wears, or whether it's the dubstep intro (LET'S SKEWER OUR DEMO YOUNGER, GUYS!) complete with them editing ~500 corporate logos to say KROLL SHOW. the irony is that like, for a show that's using dubstep to toss a bone to a young/er crowd, i'll be damned if episode 1 didn't start off with a recurring gag segment called "sex in the city.... for guys" -- HELLO AND WELCOME TO 2013, KROLL-SAN.

but yeah, to stay on topic.... workaholics is just crap. whatever novelty and humor was there seems to have gone by the wayside as now they're more interested in having a nobrow character-driven shitfest that's desperate to go meme/viral after that top gun hat proved itself to have some staying power on 4chan.

Other than a few half laughs during the season finale I also found last weeks episode really weak.
I know going into it the show is pretty dumb but if they can get me to laugh 2-3 times it really
doesn't take much time to skip the commercials. I was hoping for a little more thus far.

Last night was back up to par.

Montez hasn't been utilized as much as he should this season and jet set is actually getting funny except he is dead now.....and where the hell is Karl???

I always thought Waymond was just them making fun of an oriental guy trying to say Raymond but I found out his name is actually Waymond

Another new episode in just a few minutes. It best be better than last weeks....which shouldn't be hard to do. That was hands down the worst episode they have ever done.

This was easily the best episode of the season. I know that isn't saying much since so far it has been a
disappointment but this was more of what was expected from me.

Yeah that was good, I am not a wrestling guy but when I was little and did watch I knew Jimmy Hart
and also an appearance by Lou Albano which was funny. I found it even funnier because this week I
heard Bernsy talking about Albano on the show.

They had an R.I.P. rememberance for him after the season premiere.
