His super specific, "I know a lot about the x's and o's", long and drawn out questions suck........but they DO pay off when a guest answers with a "well, I don't know about that but we just want the guys to play really hard"! Love that. I'd rather he do away with his giant sports brain and just talk like a human being, but as long as 1/10 of those questions illicit that type of response, I'm ok!

Jim Rome should just do all of the Sports Minutes...he's the only who has any idea how to cram a bunch of smack into 60 seconds. Phenomenal. In fact, you could argue he should ONLY do Sports Minutes as his show is full of many Minutes all broken up by the crinkling of paper and pregnant pauses.

yeah...I never got into Jim's show but he does do a far superior sports minute than anyone else...
