Dude, you no longer have to sit at the back of the bus, you can vote and play shortstop for the Yankees, you've just witnessed a black President not only win but get re-elected. How bout you relax and maybe give the world another 20-30 years to adapt before you preach for something as radical as having 2 black male protagonists occupy the same mainstream tv show at the same time?

btw, on that note once Michonne gets back to the prison I don't expect Tyreese's daughter to be long for this world.

dude, you need to stop watching tv in general and go back an enroll in the 5th grade. What the fuck were you doing when they taught 10 year olds how to write a sentence?

Yeah the kill black guy/replace him thing is officially becoming a trend with this show. Maybe they'll actually attempt to provide Tyreese with some depth. Michonne the tv character is pretty useless so far.

That sucks.

Hopefully whomever replaces Mazzara is as successful as Mazzara was at replacing Darabont.

He probably read the rest of the comics and decided to get out after he's blown all the good material. Season 3 should be epic now.

Kurt Sutter Slams “Small-Minded” AMC Over ‘The Walking Dead’ Showrunner Exit
BY DOMINIC PATTEN | Friday December 21, 2012 @ 5:08pm PST

UPDATE: Shawn Ryan, who, like Kurt Sutter, also got his big break on FX with The Shield, also took to Twitter to criticize AMC over showrunner Glen Mazzara’s departure from The Walking Dead. “AMC, WTF? Common knowledge that AMC cut Breaking Bad shorter than it should have been. Now you have creative differences w/ biggest hit’s savior? With FX, Showtime, HBO, Starz, Cinemax, A&E, TNT and others to sell to, it’s a real question now why good show runners should sell to AMC?”

PREVIOUS: Sons Of Anarchy creator Kurt Sutter has never been hesitant to tell people how he really feels and today he really let AMC have it over showrunner Glen Mazzara leaving The Walking Dead. Taking to Twitter on Friday, Sutter called the network executives “small-minded, bottom-line thinkers who have no appreciation or gratitude for the effort of its creative personnel.” He also warned that without Mazzara at the helm the “future is dim” for The Walking Dead – and that’s the nice stuff. Read all of what Sutter had to say:

AMC is run by small-minded, bottom-line thinkers who have no appreciation or gratitude for the effort of its creative personnel. Time and time again we see events like what happened today with Glen Mazzara. They continue to disrespect writers, shit on their audience and bury their network. Mazzara took the work-in-progress that was “Walking Dead” and turned it into a viable TV show with a future. Without him, that future is dim. Showrunners are not development executives, we’re not cookiecutter douchebags that you plug into a preexisting model. TWD will suffer. Even Zombies need consistency. “Mad Men” and “Breaking Bad” will be gone soon. So will AMC. I hope their f*cking stock takes a dive and the shareholders line up (Josh) Sapan, (Charles) Dolan and (Charlie) Collier and shit in their open hands. C*nts.

I bet there won't be any happy endings for Hines Ward in this role.

It was ok. They need to drastically cut down on Traumatized Rick. It's just not interesting. I'm also wondering if they are actively trying to make sure everyone, including the comic fanboys, hate Andrea. That's my only guess.

Other than that, I'm expecting a big week next week. This series often has a slow episode set up a fast one, although Im not sure why they didnt come out of the extended break with one. Next week has to have some substance to it, or they'll risk losing viewers.

I liked it. Both leaders have officially lost their shit, which makes me very excited for the next showdown. Glad to have you back, Walking Dead.

I'm not a fan of this either. I remember back when Rescue Me started to do this with Dennis Leary and I stopped watching it completely. The phone call he was interesting enough but now he's going to start seeing shit. Keep it.

It was ok.

Hopefully Ghost Laurie is just a one-shot like Shane in the last episode. I think the crazed Rick will last for at least 2 more episodes before he's finally removed from leadership.

It was a disappointing episode but I have faith it will get back on track next week. I will admit when
they cut to Lori it freaked me out for a second. Carl looks like a dead ringer for his comic book character
now.

Good episode.

The Governor goes hunting, Rick goes even more bonkers, and Merle sees what happened to Daryl.

1st half of the episode sucked but nicely redeemed itself in the 2nd half.
-Daryl had my favorite zombie kill of Season 3 by smashing a zombie head with a tailgate.
-Michonne had some sweet samurai sword kills. Too bad her character still sucks.
-Walking Dead writers are quite the collection of misogynistic bastards. They manage to write every female character to become dislikable moody Caller Bobs (this episode: Maggie).
-Merle is an unlikeable asshole but I'm looking forward to him wrecking Woodbury's shit if Rick's crew responds with their own attack.
-Is Tyrese and his crew officially gone? He seemed like he could be quite the badass even though the writers love killing off black dudes.

I hope they meet back up with Tyrese as well. He was a pretty important character in the comic series. My question
is what happened to the person that drove the delivery truck into the prison yard? They got out and started shooting
but then disappeared. I am guessing they just were there to deliver the zombies and left but I didn't see it happen
with my own two eyes.

I'm pretty sure this is the end of crazy Rick. and the beginning of "I'm going to hunt you down and kill you" Rick.

Maggie is definitely in the "Why is this person mad and upset?" box.

She was talking to Glenn like The Governor and his henchmen were throwing him an ice cream party with pony rides and clowns and stuff. This show, at times, has trouble with making the "Why?" portion of a characters motivations/outbursts/feelings actually make sense and fit with what they went through. Instead of being able to empathize and understand what that character is going through I end up hating their guts and wishing that they die a slow and painful death at the hands of a pack of zombies.

-Ghost Lorie was dumb as hell, so was "Crazy Rick!" It was way to obvious and corny. Good to see it end with a bang. Mean Rick is coming and he's coming hard.
-No one can aim a rifle properly when firing on humans who are stationary but you give them a pistol and they will be headshoting moving zombies from 25 yards out.
-Why is Rick not letting Tyrese in the group? It makes zero sense especially considering that the group lost Daryl and was bracing for an attack by the Governor. Rick should have realized that he was doing the exact same thing that Herschal did to them at the farm....he didn't, though, and instead saw Lorie in a white dress and started to wave his gun around.
-WTF is going on with Andrea? Does she not see what is going on? Could it not be anymore obvious? Could she not see the Gov. reclusiveness and him getting his guns ready as a sign he wants to kill her former friends? And then she tells the Gov. that she wants to go see them? SHE WAS JUST FIRING ON THEM THE OTHER NIGHT. Andrea is one of the most poorly written and plotted characters I've ever seen. If I was Rick I would have her as Target Numer Ono.
-Daryl and Merl's scenes were awesome. Reedus and Rooker are just fucking great. You really got to see that, GASP, Daryl has changed, for the better, by his words and actions and demeanor! Wow, is this how you write a character to make them and their actions believable? Merl being a prick but reluctantly helping out with those bridge people was cool....so was Daryl finally figuring out where he belonged....seeing him and Merl kicking ass was cool as hell.
