It IS a shame when a good band becomes known for their worst song, but it happens.

I can't remember if she had a face. The large natural breasts took on a life of their own in our work place.

Sounds like a poet

You think that's the song they are known for? That one comes to mind pretty low on the list when I think of them...

Correct. Plenty of good songs in their catalog and better songs on H20. Maneater was their first #1 Single off their best selling album so it figures it's well known.

Also, this may be the first time in my life where the common ground with someone turned out to be Hall & Oates.

If you bothered to find out more about me, you'd probably find that we have more in common than this. But you're too busy being a grouch every day.

I'm honored to be a member of the Hall of Panthro.
Honestly, the Hall of Panthro sounds like some place that old mythological gods would be hanigng out at or a place to keep people with some terminal/contagious disease. Either way, sounds entertaining.

That has been my argument with Rakim as well. Not good for a long enough period of time. Same with Biggie, not that it's really his fault...

Rakim changed everything though. Gotta recognize that. Before him, every rhyme ended with "in the place to be"

He did evolve up until 92.

Its almost as if he willingly handed the title to Nas to release Illmatic in 93

People just kinda gloss over L.L. for some reason. He never spit those "in the place to be" preschool rhymes (that was Run DMC). L.L. came hard from day one with Radio.

You'll get no argument from me.

People gloss over him becasue they only remember the female driven songs that cam later in his career...
