I wouldn't eat at Fuddrucker's if it was free.

 That is a lot of red meat in your gut. Just picturing 5lbs of ground beef right now, there is
no way I could do it. Maybe I could eat half at best.

It's usually the total weight of the burger. So, the bun is typically about a pound (which is basically an entire loaf of bread) then about 2 pounds of toppings and 2-2 1/2 lbs. of meat.

You might as well take an entire meatloaf, cut a loaf of bread longways, and then eat it. In any event, no thanks.

I'm with you. that is an awful lot of food. I broiled and ate a 1.5 lb steak on Sunday afternoon and my body is still
processing it. I couldn't imagine what eating something like this burger would do to a human intestinal tract, at least
mine.

How do you know your body is still processing something you ate on Sunday?

I'll give you one guess. I hope it is still processing and not stuck. I had some ridiculous stomach pains this morning
shortly after getting up but have been fine since 6:30.

Go drink a gallon of water and take care of that.

Yeah, for one thing, I'd expect free meals for 2 or 3 months for doing something like that.

And, I'm sure they have their liability all squared away on this thing, for the number of people that will inevitably fall ill attempting this? Or are they that close to bankruptcy anyway, that this is just their way of going out with a bang?

I'd hold out for more than a T-shirt and 2 free meails. Who'd want to ever eat there again after eating a 5 pounder?

No, which is starting to concern me a little bit. Even a half pot of coffee this morning had no effect.

I'm pretty sure they've done this before.

What's funny is how they mention they have a bottomless beverage. I did one burger competition before and the no. 1 rule is to not drink anything if possible.

I think the competitive eater people use laxatives after their competitions.
