Is he or isn't he the next Bulls Luol Deng? Will we ever be able to compare him to Carmelo?

Gonna be a good show today. Tune in, or don't.

GarPax have been very successful at finding role players. Their depth has been a big advantage in the regular season. Unfortunately, that doesn't translate in the bench shortened playoffs.

The closest thing Jerry krause found to Jimmy Butler was Jason Caffey! yes, I know krause always drafted last, but he couldnt even pull NBA bench lifers! Robert Chief

Pretty sure Caffey made the All Weed Team. So it wasn't a total loss.

I believe you're mistaking him for Corie Blount.

Caffey was on the All Bastard Kid Team.

 That's right. I got my star backups mixed up.

Met Caffey at a wedding once. He is a nice guy.

The Corie Blount story is hilarious.

It's like an ice cream shop owner named Cone.

I can't believe that every single Bulls fan in America thinks that Jimmy Butler is sure fire Hall of Famer who is better than Derrick Rose.

This is a sad day for Chicago Sports Fandom.

I'm happy for Jimmy Butler, but let's slow down on all the love, sort of speak for the Bulls' 2nd year swingman. He's only been playing this good for a couple of weeks on both ends of the floor.

There's a reason why Butler got bypassed for the Sophomore team during the Rising Stars Challenge at NBA All-Star Weekend in Houston next month. He's only averaged about 20 minutes per game and had only started to contribute recently compared to other rookies & sophomores around the league.

"All the love?"

Where is all of the love for this guy? I'm not seeing any calls for parades and statues outside the U.C.

B and B are upset he isn't a white guy. They would have been able to spin this love for a role player thing into a racism of the average fan discussion that would have taken them through to spring training.

Very true.

I would also like to thank Benni Hanna for a great OFFICIAL SHOW THREAD. All others should be viewed as cheap copies and not worthy of your time.

Haven't listened to this show in a couple weeks and today I finally tune in and what's the first thing I hear....Bernstein pushing his charity again. What gets me about it is the guy is such an arrogant prick in regards to other people's causes and plights that I find it offensive to hear him pushing his. Normally I'd care about the cause but I have a tough time giving a shit about anything with this guy.

Yeah, he was going hard on some people who backed out of donations. I hope channel 11 never does that to people who flake on pledge drives.

And goodness is that 10 Seconds of Glory promo a tough listen. The stupid chipmunk-rap beat, CAN YOU DIG IT over and over, the fact that the name just sounds like using a glory hole.

Yeah when that 10 seconds of glory comes on I turn the volume off. I don't know what that annoying rap crap is playing, but it is downright irritating. I think someone said it's a Jackson 5 sample, but whatever it is they should put it where Michael is right now - 6 feet under.

Why is Terry so confused? Marino was having an affair, probably got drunk one night, didn't use a condom and he got her pregnant. Why is this so complicated?

Sure, he should have used a condom, but he didn't. So what? He set them up for life. Not having Marino around really isn't a big loss for the kid. He's pretty much a dumb ass. Not gonna teach the kid much.

Didn't another CBS personality, CBS Sports Radio's Tiki Barber, have a similar affair when he was with NBC News & Sports?

I believe Tiki was cheating on his pregnant wife with an intern whose work he oversaw. I don't know what Marino did. I know he had a major drug problem in college

Yeah, I know that cheating story ruined Tiki's brief cup of coffee at NBC.

yeah, I think Tiki's jumpoff was a college student of some sorts, and if I'm not mistaken I think he tried to "make it legit" with her? Idk it's been awhile, and there's that nagging issue of nobody really giving a fuck about Tiki Barber in the first place. C'est la vie.
