Don't allow teams to take intentional safeties. Call it a touchdown for the opposition or award the opposition the ball at the 20 yard closest to the safety.

The NFL isn't supposed to give a fuck about the point spread, & it doesn't make the game suck. In fact, what happened in this game rarely ever happens anyway, so it isn't a big deal.

You do realize that on the punt the players ran onto the field before the player touched the ground and the ball was fumbled.

Also every time you hand off when you're ahead in the 4th to kill the clock you should get a 5 yard penalty and they should add 1 minutes back on the clock. I mean if you can run clock on offensive penalties late you should be able to run it the other way.

Don't be behind by more that 2 points with less than 15 seconds left and you'll be ok.

The whole thing is that the refs blew that call. The referee doing the Super Bowl is nowhere near the best referee in the league.

The refs gave the Ravens a pass interference call to extend an earlier drive. The Ravens player was all over him. The bottom line is he got in the way of the receiver and didn't make a play on the ball.

The safety rule is fine as is.

Refs should not be allowed to call helmet to helmet hits, the ravens punter commited one on that return...so did the DB by the goaline on crabtree at the end of the game...let the league fine guys.

* I had the over...fine with the outcome, refs had a decent night...much better refereed game than every reg season game I watched this year.

A fucking safety is terrible. Should be more crippling than it is. Im talking in general, not just last nights game

Give the losing team another 10 seconds each time the winning team commits a penalty to run the clock, under 1 min left.

I know they wont let a game end on a D penalty, but even on that Safety, Balt held numerous Sf players. Not just a J Webb hold, but full hands around the waist, lock em up, holds.

Not impressed with the SF play calls either in big situations, so not blaming refs.

Yeah, lot of bad play calling by s.f. in the first half against Baltimore n Atlanta....c.k. has to watch that clock better.. I have seen harbaugh save his ass 5 or 6 times this year with sideline timeout in key situations.

Here is my suggestion:
Widen the hashmarks to where they are in college. It would make the kicking game harder.

Yeah, they actually brought up the possibility that if SF called for a fair catch on that kickoff/punt, they would get a "free kick," which means a field goal attempt from the spot of the catch, with no pass rush. The problem is, unless the punter absolutely shanks it, it would always be a 70+ yard FG. Perhaps change the rule so that the receiving team gets the free kick from where they are able to advance the ball to...that would make teams think twice about taking the intentional safety.
