I wonder if Bernsy's aware that one of the show's favorite targets is under further investigation today. ABC News says Lance Armstrong's troubles are far from over.

Bernstein said this morning he had banged out his annual plea to Thibs to quit burning out players. Coming from the guy who hasn't missed an opportunity to rip columnists for writing the same story over and over.

I know these 2 will be at the Auto Show in the next week to 10 days in the "TOYOTA Sports Corner" at McCormick Place South.

I don't think you are appreciating the analogy. Slaves benefitted from slavery by eventually realizing a benefit from the "really white people" that brought them to this country, collegiate athletes are afforded the opportunity to move to better neighborhoods because "really smart people" know how to monetize athletic competition.

Doc, they're also big business. That explains why CBS Sports Network, DIRECTV 613, along with ESPNU, DIRECTV 208, are covering National Signing Day all day today.

I would find it interesting to discover what else runs through the mind of a Daniel Bernstein. Something tells me the morning ritual is a thing to behold. The discoveries may never end.

In fairness, it's not like Northwestern has a "crazy rah rah college is awesome because it makes men and we love our players and graduate our players" coach for football.
