Can you quantify what you mean? More points scored? More total yards? More wins?

More competitive, most likely leading to more wins.

They will not lose games by an average of 17 points/game - it would be less if they don't just win outright.

That's disappointing. "See I told you the Jets would lose by less points" is going to be the worst bragging this site has seen since RFDC bragged about beating Illinois in football.

Maybe they should just sign Peyton Manning, then you'll believe that Sanchez sucks.

I already said that the Jets should have signed Orton. That tells you how much I think Sanchez sucks.

Happy Thanksgiving Tim Tebowners. Be thankful he doesn't play more and embarrass himself further than he did in the last game.

Thankfully for people entertained by bad football, Sanchize has us covered.

Tebow is probably pissed. This move should have been made earlier in the season.

The Jets waited until Tebow was out to do it. It was done on purpose this way. Everyone on the Jets hate Tim Tebow.

It probably would have happened anyways this way. The Jets feel that Tebow has actually regressed as a quarterback from last year.

How terrible must your coaches be to make Tim Tebow worse at QB?

Back to Sanchez.

How much do you have to suck to make it so that Rex Ryan would rather get fired than start you?

Sanchez has better looking feet than Tebow.

What is it going to take for me to get my long overdue and well deserved apology? It is really starting to get to me that I was treated so poorly and I demand recompense.

Can someone please get in contact with BD and let him know about this thread? It's possible that he doesn't read the NFL section, which would explain why he was so far off as king of the Tebowners.

Now would be a good time for a BD entrance into this thread.

The Jacksonville Jaguars made it clear Thursday that they have no plans to pursue the popular and polarizing New York Jets backup quarterback.

The Jets are likely to release the 2007 Heisman Trophy winner and Jacksonville native during the offseason, and many believed Tebow would land with the Jaguars.

But new general manager David Caldwell nixed that idea at his introductory news conference.

''I can't imagine a scenario in which he'll be a Jacksonville Jaguar - even if he's released,'' Caldwell said.

I think it's clear that he won't be a QB in this league.

I believe he can still be a good football player that contributes to a team but it will be as some FB/TE Hybrid of some sort and not dropping back to pass.

Score another one for the sane posters in this thread.

Does someone want to write an apology for BD in absentia since he has clearly never seen this thread?

FavreFan especially had a bad thread here.

Ouch.

So we know for an absolute fact that he cant play QB in the NFL?

Everything I've seen from both guys tells me I was still right about Tebow being better than Sanchez. Sorry if I don't trust the certifiably insane Rex Ryan on this one. He's a joke of a head coach. It was pretty much a concensus among media members that the Jets were worried about Tebow playing better than Sanchez at the end of the season and that's why they went with McElroy.

Keep digging deeper. I'll just wait until next year and bump it again when Tebow is either sitting on a bench or playing a different position.

Ok, so what team is going to get Tebow to play QB next year? He is available for cheap too.

Sanchez is probably destined to be a backup somewhere else, or have competition with the Jets, but the writing on the wall is clear on Tebow. Switch positions or he is out of the league.

Let's put it another way FavreFan. How many more NFL games will Tim Tebow start at QB in his career?
