To the list, you can add Terry's proclamation about Urlacher giving his to "soul" to the Bears. How quickly would a caller be shouted down and ostrich-sized if that were his take?

Kinda lends credence to the notion that Terry Boers simply "goes along to get along" when it comes to Bernstein. Terry is more similar to the average fan than the show would like you to believe.

Is it really that strange? I think Terry has those thoughts but chooses to parrot Dan's instead. Otherwise he'd have to engage in a tiring argument with Bernsy and I think he's done with that shit.

It just seems like they've thrown in the towel concerning creativity years ago and have gone full "Reactionary-Lecture Radio." Which is a pretty tired formula and makes for a real painful listen.

Gives the board plenty to talk about, though.

P.S. - Does anyone have a breakdown of ESPN/Score670 ratings? How big is the drop off from Mac/Meat to Professor BernSTINE?

It's just that Terry sometimes slips up reveals belief in things that aren't quantifiable, like heart, determination, "wanting it more", or in the case of Urlacher, "giving your soul" to a team. Those are things Bernstein absolutely finds no value in, but Terry really believes in.

Certainly. Terry don't need no stinkin sabrmetrics. He knows what he's watching and doesn't need numbers to translate it for him. I like that about Terry actually. It's my preferred method of watching sports as well.
