Yeah, it's total bullshit. The police are just one big gang who are looking out for their own just like any other gang would.

I think the cops should at the very least be fired, but to try to be fair, this guy is specifically targeting lapd cops. Makes sense that they are protecting them.

Pretty shitty fucking detail that can't tell a Grey Nissan Titan from a Blue Toyota Tacoma, nevermind the aforementioned 2 Asian broads vs. 1 big badass brother. That's some nice policework there, Lou.

I understand that, you still can't go around shooting on cars/people because you think it's the suspect. The police are supposed to be held to a higher standard, even though that's obviously not the case.

They put 30+ rounds in a truck that didn't match the make, model, year or color, that was occupied by a couple of tiny asian ladies.

PUT THAT INTO PERSPECTIVE FOR A SECOND: 30+ rounds - that's at least 1 magazine reload for each officer, and odds are, more than that if they were shooting .45 or similar loads. They put an entire magazine into the back of a vehicle that in no way (OTHER THAN BEING A TRUCK) matched the suspect vehicle, then STOPPED AND RELOADED AND CONTINUED TO FIRE UPON said vehicle.

It's a fucking disgrace.

I'm glad I'm not following this story. Seems like a good way to get my blood pressure up.

You have to make sure the colored suspect is dead in Los Angeles. #Truth

I wasn't in any way excusing the cops that shot the innocent people. My comment was only directed at the comments complaining that the police were only worried about their own lives. In this one case it makes sense that they are guarding officers and their families. That doesn't mean it's ok to overreact and shoot up anything somewhat suspicious. Bring those officers up on charges.

@YEAHRIGHTPOS Such undeniably righteous intentions yet such horribly unfortunate means. His cause needs to prevail, but he needs to lose.

I can't say as I entirely disagree with that statement.

What were they attempting to hit by putting 20 rounds into the tailgate?

This whole thing reminds me of the old Dirty Harry movies. Not sure why.

The blonde chick going around shooting everybody in the balls was pretty hot.

It sets up nicely. Eastwood's ex-wife playing the dirty cop that originally caused all the hubub. Eastwood has to come in as the rogue cop to kick some ass. Eastwood flips his badge into the L.A. surf and walks into the sunset with some really strange 70's music playing in the background.

The Gauntlet would be good IF this Dorner feller didn't go out and shoot some people already. Now, if we go with a little conspiracy theory, and someone hacked his computer, killed some people and pinned it on Dorner, we have a winner.

I read parts of the manifesto.... damn this thread for roping me in.

Being flayed inch by inch for years is too good for this guy. Killing a person's child for a perceived greivance is one of the most cowardly acts I can imagine.

Yeah, as I said I couldn't read it all either. Enjoy, going nuts with the rest of us, I don't think they are getting this guy soon.

Yeah and the response by the LAPD is frightening. Shooting at anything that moves, this could escalate pretty quickly. A couple of people take it upon themselves to go along with what this guy is saying and we have Tombstone, AZ on our hands.

I hope you arent implying that Tombstone is a bad movie.

But yeah, this sounds like the plot to a really bad prequel to Demolition Man.

Demolition Man is one of the best bad movies ever made. I would love to see a prequel of that. With Sly and Snipes reprising their roles.

I would never speak ill of Tombstone.

I was thinking more along the lines of anything directed by Michael Bay.

It is happening in real life. This guy is Simon Phoenix and now we just need a current LAPD officer to say 'Fuck It' and go John Spartan and start blowing up everything and shooting at people like crazy.... Oh wait they are already doing that.

Demolition Man II: The Rise of Simon Phoenix

Why the fuck am I wasting these ideas here, I should be in Hollywood making the big bucks...

I wish this guy had done something just a little less crazy.

Like if he kidnapped the ACTUAL COPS he's angry with instead of murdering their kids.
