Goddamn.... TWO segments of this crap? Bernstein's cousin must be having a dry spell so they tossed him a bone.... but wtf is this? Granted it's a forced bit, but like Dan just said "It's always nice to talk to him, but it's always more of the same..." What the fuck is this Boris shit? What are these antiquated positions on politics, social/sexuality issues, and all the like? I just don't get it...

Rusty, or so I thought, was always supposed to be the epitome of the "meatball" caller, you know, the SUPERMEGAUBERULTRA pantsless cretin who embodied every negative trait that they used to poke fun at, but now have turned into a FOTS-level trademark/schtick. Even worse are these ALS callers who are immediately on the horn claiming that they nearly fell off the roof listening to Rusty.... good god man, Terry's fake/canned laughter that started b4 Rusty finished his sentences/punchlines was one thing.... but are people REALLY mic-sniffing hard enough to call up and proclaim the last half hour to be radio gold before they get on to reinforcing another one of the show's talking points? * remembers Elmhurst Steve in his ESPNRadio 1000 shirt, with the thought train chugging to ReVolution station * oh wait... who am I crappin?

Rusty was never good, not even two years ago. Nowadays it's just utterly pointless and akin to the Stern Show in terms of smashing the rosy-colored-glasses that we like to view the show through.

Jesus Christ is it an awful moment when you can't get to the MUTE or STOP button before Larry starts talking....what a douchebag. He got a bat. Great. Hopefully somebody jumps him and beats him with it.

I really cannot stand that dude. The worst.

I can honestly say I'm in between on LoHo. I think when he is by himself,he is much better. I also think he does a pretty good job on Ch. 5 news. The guys on here though have pointed out some things. He does get creepy and weird, but so does most of the CSFMB.

Dude, then what are you doing leaving me all alone in tonight's THE PEOPLE'S SHOW thread? We need YOU, jimmy, to join us in the RealVolution that is going on from 6-10pm tonight. If anything do it because my name is james and all of us well-named-motherfuckers gotta stick together like the cheese and beans in a Burrito that's been stuffed up Keeping Score's ass in order to preserve the board caricature!

I only heard the last half of Rusty yesterday. I would much rather hear 30 minutes of Dan and Teary talking about nothing, since let's be honest, that's when they're at their best, than 30 seconds of Rusty. Hyped up too much and unfunny.

Whaddya mean? Joyce provides him with great comedic fodder. What an abortion of a bit. Awful instincts to keep going back to that stupid well.

Obviously I don't want somebody to literally beat Larry with his customized Louisville Slugger, I just want him to go away. To not come anywhere near a microphone. That's it. His continued existence on camera/mic mystifies me and makes me doubt the sanity of the general public.

and just think... he's PAID by depaul to go into a classroom and teach kids how to be just like him in order to procure a future in radio. he's a success story; he draws so much heat he doesn't go out on new year's eve cuz when Laurence Holmes shows up at your shindig you midaswell ready the police tape cuz you know the party is going off the rails.

This was pretty funny. I liked it.

Well done.

Just listened to the podcast for Rusty segment. Hopefully it's the last one ever. Terrible bit.
